A Recap of 2008

Well, since it is the last day of the year, I think a recap is in order right now.

January
Not much happened. Quite uneventful.

February-April
Joined kawad for KRS. For the sports day and zone level competition. Didn't win either of them, but had a blast. =)
Results at the end of April: I had a really bad sunburn and tan and it took me a few months for my skin tone to be anywhere near to normal again. For the most part, I skipped A LOT of classes, and was behind on my homework by a few weeks.

May
Exam month. >=(
Despite all of my extra curricular activities, I still improved in my studies! Went up overall, and my percentage was 81%. =D

June
My birthday month! It was on a Friday, lots of people wished me, and the most surprising wish of all was from Pn. Rahayu. Mostly because she gave this talk (more like lecture) about something. I didn't know how to respond, so all I did was nod and smile. =P I got a new phone from my parents as my birthday pressie. =)

Went to Ireland and the UK earlier in the month. Kakya's graduation. Had the best time of the year. I was shopping like crazy. I'm really surprised my parents didn't go bankrupt. Ha ha..

July-September
Not much happened. I studied less, for some reason. Focused more on reading books. (The Twilight Saga) Puasa and Raya time, too. =D Went to open houses, met new people (a lot of new people, thanks to my SAB buddies) and studied. Not so much on that last one, though that's one I really had to focus on..

October
Exam month again. Finals. >='(
Because of Raya and everything, I didn't study much. Because of that, my grades went down. My parents weren't too happy about that. The only I could offer; other students' grades went down too! Not a good excuse, I know, but what else could I say?

November-December
Final days of school. But I wasn't there. Had a camp in Putrajaya. A kenaikan pangkat thing for KRS. I am now a lans corporal! (I think that's how its spelled) The rest of the months were filled with me going out with friends, dinners with family, and lounging around the house.

Oh yeah, and I started tuition in Kasturi with Kit May. Preparation for what's to come in 2009. Ugh, PMR. >.<

And that's it for me in 2008. It was a good year, and I enjoyed almost every minute of it. =) Now, for the last part of this blog entry:

New Year's Resolutions
1. Be able to finish homework on time without delay
2. Be more rajin (in almost everything I do)
3. Get 8A's in PMR
4. Hopefully win the competition and beat P.T and P.W!!
5. Get my braces off before PMR (as originally planned)

And so ends the final part of this blog entry. Hopefully my resolutions will be resolved and I hope yours will be too!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Stupid bat...

You must be wondering why I wrote that as the title.

Well, its all because of a little bat who somehow got into my house and decided to fly around through the night.

I was downstairs when Kakda found it on the TV antenna. At first she thought it was a rat. Then it started flying. There goes the rat assumption. She ran to my mom's room, and tried to wake her up. It worked, but my mom was mad that she was woken up at 1 something and told my sister that it was just a dream or something.

Then she fell asleep again. 0.0 There's a bat in the house, you're daughter's freaked out and all you do is fall back asleep as if nothing happened? Tsk, tsk, tsk.

Kakda ran downstairs and told Kakya and me. Or tried to, anyway. I fell asleep while watching Epic Movie. Kakya went downstairs to sleep in the first place. Upstairs was like an oven. So, she told us, then dropped it. Thought we didn't hear or something. I heard, but Kakya probably didn't.

Kakda wanted to sleep, but I was in her spot. She woke up Kakya first, then told her to go sleep upstairs. Since Kakya didn't hear what she said about the bat, she went upstairs without a second thought.

Then I heard her yell and she came thundering down the stairs.

Alright, maybe that's an exaggeration. But its what it felt like to me. I was half asleep by then. Kakya stayed downstairs and slept on the couch. I scooted over on the other side of the sofa bed. All three of us slept in the guest room that night.

How nice...NOT.

Again I say: Stupid bat!

I feel bloated

About the title, you'd get it if you went to Sunway with me and my sisters today.

Lemme start from the first moment I woke up. It was almost 11. Kakda woke me and told me to go mandi first. I did, but after seaching for something to wear in the dresser downstairs. Her clothes, of course. =) That took about 10 minutes. She even had time to doze off on my bed, though there was no air cond. (I don't switch it on nowadays, all because of my cold. My comforter is sweating me to dehydration, I tell ya!)

So I showered and got ready. Just then I remembered that my mom was in Ipoh. I was looking for her all morning...(at least the part of the morning that I was awake already)

So, Kakda was ready, and Kakya already showered, so all she had to do was tukar baju. And we were off. Before that, though, Kakya and me watched the first part of Titanic. =D I actually watched it the night before, and I didn't cry this time!!! I'm so proud of myself. ;) Okay, admittedly,I almost cried, to be exact. It almost brimmed over my eyes. But it didn't, so no worries. =)

The trip was good, we talked and joked the whole way. Kakya complained and cerita-ed to us about the sucky surgeons at the hospital. She says physicians are nicer than surgeons. So then we started comparing our parents. We never noticed that before! Good examples, since my mom is a physician and my dad is a surgeon. Kinda. He's actually and O&G specialist, but he can still be considered a surgeon. Seriously, we never noticed how they were different in that way before! What a weird revelation...though I think you should've listened to the conversation to really understand what we're talking about. Anyway, we compared other doctors we know, too, not just our parents.

Sunway was so packed! The line to get into the parking lot was long already! We went down a few floors until we could find a spot. Luckily we were in the Myvi. To quote my sister; menangis kalau naik Estima!

I guess that's true. We really would cry. Out of frustration.

We had lunch there, or in my case brunch, since I skipped breakfast. Ate at Manhattan Fish Market. Actually, we waited for Abg. Hazwan and his girlfriend to join us. Then we ate. It was good...=)

They went to a movie after that. We bought some sweets to try and get rid of the garlic smell. Kakda bought the sour Skittles, Kakya bought a sugar powder thingy, and I bought a Push Pop. Orange flavour was all there was.

Then we went shopping. We went into a lot of shops. To name a few; Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Promod, Esprit, Forever 21, Dorothy Perkins, Springfield and MNG. I think that's almost all, but I think I missed a few. But it seemed like a lot more, probably because we went into the same shops twice. All with the same reason; do I wanna buy this or not?

All of the stuff bought today:

Kakya
1. A bag from Promod
2. A purse from Forever 21.

Kakda
1. A bag from Dorothy Perkins
2. A notebook from Forever 21 (Yeah, I didn't know they even had that kind of merchandise)

Me
1. A top from Miss Selfridge.

I wanted to buy something from Topshop. Who wouldn't? Most of the really cute tops were 50% off!! But I didn't feel like trying them on, though I already knew my size. But I feel deprived of really worth-it tops. =(

But at the cost of the Miss Selfridge top, I wouldn't have bought anything else today, anyway. It costs RM146, but after the membership discount, it turun until Rm131. I saved about 14 bucks! That's not bad, I guess... But its still expensive. But its a really cute top. The pros and cons of it make me feel guilty. I've spent a lot recently, and I don't feel too good about it, you know. I'm happy that I get some new stuff, but the price of everything... I shudder to think about it. =(

Okay, so after we bought all of that, we ate at Waffle World! The Crepe Suzette was really good. So was the corn dog and smoothie that we ordered along with it.

After Waffle World, we wanted to bring something back for our dad. We considered some stuff, but chose Delifrance in the end. Two baguettes. One with kaya, and one with garlic spread. Both were delicious. =)

Then we went home. Got a bit lost on the highways, no surprise since there were so many roads with signs pointing to KL in different directions. In the end we got to a road leading to Cheras. Wrong direction to where we were supposed to be headed. Pusing here, belok there, and after a few honks and avoiding some manic, harassing drivers, we got on a familiar road and arrived safely home. =)

Put the bread in the oven to bakar, and ate it nice and hot. Really crunchy. Should do it again, sometime. Ate pau after that, ones my mom brought back from Tanjung Malim. Those are the best. ;)

After everyone stopped eating and did whatever they did after that, I didn't. Just kept eating junk food. Then had dinner. Now that's when I really stopped. Way too bloated up to eat anything else. Unless someone waves ice cream in front of my face, that is...

This is so not healthy. I should stop. But for some reason I can't. =S

I almost kissed a book!

I couldn't sleep last night.
Naturally. (I should really fix my sleep patterns, shouldn't I?)
So, I decided to reread Breaking Dawn. My third time, I think.
Actually I started reading after dinner. I'm not really sure what time it was. What I do know is, I finished by 1. Earlier than that, actually.

Anyway, I was laughing whenever I read the funny parts, but oddly I didn't cry at the sad parts, unlike the first time round. (Honestly, I did cry the first time I read it. Like a baby!) Those books really do that to you. I was sobbing like crazy when I read New Moon. Eclipse, not so much. But I still cried, no matter what. Luckily I was locked up in my room whilst reading them. Twilight was hardly sad, I smiled like an idiot while reading that one. Over and over again. =) That applies to all of them, really.

You can never distract me while I'm in the middle of all that. Just try. I won't even acknowledge your presence. =P Too engrossed, as they say. (You know who you are)

Anyway, when I finished the book, I was smiling like a bloody idiot in the middle of the night, alone in my room with Fall Out Boy blaring in the background, and feeling unusually giddy.

This is where I sort of lost it for a second.

I was so happy (since it is a happy ending, after all), I actually hugged the book and almost kissed it!!!!!!

Okay, Dian, if you're reading this, just to be absolutely and perfectly crystal clear,

My lips never went anywhere near that book!

Alright? So don't freak. I never kissed that book before. Ever.
Okay, now that we're clear on that, on to another topic.

My dad just bought a new Nikon D300 SLR camera!!!!!
It's totally awesome. =D I love using that camera, its so fun, and it makes you feel so powerful. I'm not sure how to explain it, but that's how I feel whenever I use it. There's not much of a difference between the D3 and the D2, but there is a difference, nonetheless. Obviously. 0_0

Expensive, though. You can only dream for someone to get that for you, no matter what the cause.

The funny thing is, my dad didn't answer my mom's calls while he was buying the thing! I was right there with her at home, she called him, he didn't answer. My sister wanted to go out, so she called him. (This was a while after that) He picked up the phone. Okay, so maybe he was busy before or whatever right? That would've been fine if he was at a restaurant with Uncle Jamil, or in the car or at the night market or something. But no, he told my sister that he was at Keat, his favourite camera shop.

BUSTED!!!

My mom wasn't mad or anything, but we laughed about it instead. I figured he'd buy it sooner or later, since he's been eyeing that camera for months now. The hint came on Sunday, at the Lake Gardens. (previous post) I was taking some pics, then he told my mom that I should inherit a camera to use. (And not the small Leica I'm currently using) I don't think I was supposed to really hear that, but he said it out loud, and he knew very well that I was within earshot!

Don't think that I'm getting that camera. No way in the bloody world! No, I'm gonna be using another one more often now. Don't know which one, but one of the big ones. SInce my sister already claimed the big Leica for herself. =/

We experimented with the new camera that night, along with the D2 and Abg. Mut's Fuji. I learned how to use the big flash and the slave (or is it sleeve? I didn't catch it) flash. Now it's Abg. Mut's turn to be the model, not the photographer! =) Zara, as usual was the main subject. Smiling and laughing away, so plenty of photo opportunities there. Learned a lot, and had a lot of fun with my dad. Quality bonding time, I think it's called. ;)

Now that I've read the partial draft of Midnight Sun, I keep thinking of what Edward said about Bella's eyes. It's all that's in my head nowadays!

He said that her eyes have a depth to them, unlike most brown coloured eyes, which usually look flat.

Now all I think is: are my eyes deep or flat?

I really want to know. (Maybe I'm just too obsessed with what Edward thinks, since he's always comparing other people's brown eyes with Bella's) I just don't know how to tell the difference between deep and flat eyes. I'm not really the type of person to look straight into someone's eyes. Even if I do, I don't think of that at the moment.

That's the problem. When I want to compare, there's no one to compare to. It's not easy to ask someone to sit still while you look straight into their eyes. That's kinda off, don't you think? I just wish I had someone else's perspective. If you've ever done that before and can tell the difference, let me know, will you? I'm dying of curiosity here!

Slept at 3 something, possibly 4.

Okay, so. Last night I was really bored after:
1. Watching TV
2. Playing a game on the PSP
3. Listening to the new Fall Out Boy album (it's really good, BTW, the songs are catchy!)
4. Playing with Zara
5. Coming back from shopping
6. Ate Subway (again)
7. Checked my FB and MS countless times

I know, I really don't have anything better to do. My homework's not getting anywhere with my current mood. =(

Anyway, since I'd run out of things to do, I visited www.stepheniemeyer.com for all things Twilight. It has all the details of all 4 books, and a draft from Midnight Sun!! Since some of you already know how obsessed I am over Twilight (with the fact that I've read the book about 5 times) naturally you would think that I read the draft.

Well, if you did guess that, you'd be right. =)

I started reading it from 10:06. (Yes, I actually remember the exact time I started!) Honestly, that very first chapter mad me fall in love with Edward even more...and I didn't think that was possible! So I kept on reading it until chapter 12, Complications. By that time, it was almost 3:30. To be perfectly honest, I didn't want to stop there, I knew I could go on till 5 in the morning, but I was supposed to be going out with my mom to get new uniforms. So I went to sleep. Because of all that reading, I was actually tired enough to fall asleep without the aid of music in my ears. Reading about Edward and trying to understand his thoughts is exhausting!

My mom woke me up a few hours later, at around 9 something. She asked if I really wanted to go but it now. I was way too sleepy to go out, so I said no, maybe next time. So she left me there to sleep in peace again. I woke up eventually at 12 something. ;P

Of course, I wouldn't go and mandi or anything first. No, the first thing I did when I got out of bed was pick up where I left at chapter 12. It stopped by the end of that chapter, and I really can't wait for the book to actually come out! The one I read was just a draft, so the book would be more polished, and maybe some things would be edited. You could tell it was just a draft and not the real thing, because there were some grammatical errors.

Well, I got to go eat now. See ya! =D

Lake Gardens

Well, I went to the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens this morning. I went with my parents and a few members form the KPMC Photography Club. All in all, a total of 6 people. ._. Not a lot, I know, but it was actually better that way. We could really get into the subjects more, and we could pay attention to what my dad was saying about apertures and stuff! I didn't get much, but I did get a bit of input on the topic. =)

Here's some of the pics I took all on my own. =D

My dad and me moved really slowly and carefully so that we wouldn't scare the dragonfly off! it was easier for him, he had the tripod, and the Nikon D200. I had the Leica, with no tripod, so it was harder for me to get a good shot of it without being too close for my own comfort.

Taking a picture of this butterfly was hard, too. First of all, the flower was only a few centimeters off the ground. I had to really get down on my knees and slowly, too, to get that shot. I've been chasing that same butterfly (at least I think) around!

This is called the Golden Shower. I mean the flowers, not the fountain behind it. =P This is a bit tricky to get in focus, because the wind kept blowing the flowers around. I had to get on my knees for this one, too. The angle was slightly from the bottom, and the pasu wasn't exactly tall, either. Good thing I was wearing grey-blackish pants. (yes, the ones from Esprit!)

And this was the butterfly I was chasing with another one in the back! (Or it could be the other way around, I really can't tell the difference.) I had to move super slowly for this one. Those butterflies get scared off easily, you know!!

Just a simple white orchid here.. Not hard to take, actually quite simple. This is best taken using Macro. The one my dad took with the Nikon D200, he only focused on the yellow part inside the flower. Like, only that, and the rest is completely blurred. Really nice.

After the gardens, my parents and I went to Balqish's 1st birthday party! She's my cousin's daughter, hence my niece. Nothing much happened, we just ate, gave presents, ate some more, then made plans for the 25th. We're having lunch at my aunt's house (her infamous nasi kandar) and have a meeting about something....

Oh, well. I'm just in for the food. ;)

Subway

Tuition today wasn't all bad. It was funny in fact. Everyone was cracking up. Why?

Science: Mr. Simon was acting differently today. No idea why, he just seemed different. Maybe the calcium carbonate sets something off in his mind. He was playing with sea shells...

Sejarah: Cikgu KJ was cerita-ing about the Japanese and how cruel they were during the 3 and a half years they ruled Tanah Melayu. She reached the part where they tortured you so much they would even cabut something form your body, and it would hurt like hell, but you'd still be alive. Her question was, "apa yang boleh dicabut?"
Now, since kasturi is perverted, and yet shy about it, no one really answered. We could guess what it was, but just didn't have the guts to say it out loud. She kept asking over and over again. Very persistent that woman. =)

She directed the question to the guys, of course. The girls just sat back and laughed. One guy answered what we were thinking. By that time everyone was laughing so hard, I didn't cath her answer to that answer.

But the correct answer was nails. They cabut the nails of your fingers and toes. Just imagine what kind of pain that would cause.

After that, she cracked some more jokes and we laughed like crazy, but I can't remember what they were about. =D

After tuition Kakya wanted Subway. So we went to JJ. She didn't want to get out of the car to buy it, so she waited while I bought the sandwiches.

I bought what she ordered, but its kinda embarrassing so I won't say what she actually ordered and what I bought for her. ;)

So Go To Sogo!

My days aren't filled with lazing around the house anymore...
I guess that should be a good thing. I was the one who complained a lot before, right?
So yeah, I should be happy that I'm out and about now. But strangely, now I prefer to sit and do nothing all day. Except eat, of course.

That's starting to be a problem. All I wanna do is eat. It doesn't matter what, I just want to eat. Junk food mostly, because that won't make me kenyang. Then after the junk food, I can eat lunch/dinner. That is so not healthy! I'm surprised I haven't gained weight. ;)

Okay, so... I should start with what happened today, no?

I couldn't sleep till 4 in the morning. Naturally I would be sleepy, right? Wrong. For some reason, I wasn't sleepy at all. Okay, so maybe it was because I woke up at 12. =)

Still, I should've been a bit sleepy at first. But I wasn't. That's not like me. Even with the perfect amount of sleep needed and more, I'm still sleepy. But today I wasn't. What more now, and it's 12:30. I really have no hope of getting to bed anytime soon, huh?

Well, anyway, I went out with Kakya to Sogo after lunch. Or brunch, for me. Actually we parked at Sogo, then walked to Maju Junction. What was at Maju Junction?

The Esprit Outlet!!

I know, I know, it's just Esprit. But it's a good place to shop! I'll give you as many reasons as I can:

1. The clothes are really nice.
2. They're comfy too.
3. They're actually quite affordable for a branded shop, especially when its an outlet.
4. Its Esprit. Enough said. =P

That's all I can think of at the moment. But that's still a lot of reasons as to why you should go shopping at Esprit. Of course this mainly applies to girls. For guys, there won't be many options for you, except some really nice stripy shirts.

I bought a new pair of pants there. Really comfy. And they only cost RM69.95!! That's considered cheap, I gotta tell you.

After Esprit we walked back to Sogo, because we were scared that it might rain later.
The women's department was so disappointing! Really, it was. almost half was filled with the shops meant for working class people. You know, almost all the clothes there were kemejas and stuff. Work clothes. Not casual. And Kakya was looking for a half top. She couldn't find it there.

We just continued going up, hen we reached the electronics floor. Looked around, but didn't find anything interesting. Bought stationary, then bought groceries for Kakda. She's making a caramel peach cake for her friend, I think. Not sure whether there's any for us. =(

Then we went home, and got caught up in the rush hour jam for a bit, but it all cleared once we were on the elevated highway.

I was scolded for not burning the photos from Ireland and the UK trip on CD by everyone in my family. I guess I deserved it, my dad did ask since last week. Honestly, I did forget to do it. AND not all the photos were there, so I couldn't really burn it at the time. I've done it now, FYI, and it took 7 CDs to fit it all in. o.o

That's about it on my day.

One thing I found out while at Maju Junction, after shopping at Esprit.

I've bought almost an entire outfit already.

That might not sound like a lot, but I bought it all just for fun. Not because of Raya or whatever, where new clothes are a must, but just because. Let's just recap, shall we?

1. Pull and Bear sneakers on Monday. (8th)
2. Pull and Bear top on Sunday. (14th)
3. Esprit pants on Monday. (15th)

All that's left is a bag. Thought of buying one, too. But I think it's not worth it. I have a lot already, plus I can borrow my sisters' bags. All a total of 20 bags each, and I have 3 sisters. Just imagine the possibilities of a perfect outfit at hand. =)

Doodles! XD

This just shows how boredom can lead to me doing really stupid and pointless stuff.
Just thought that you should see how far my art skills can stretch, or whatever you call it.
I know, it's like, really, really ugly, but boredom does this to you. No joke, it really does push you do this if you can. =)

In and Out, but mostly Out.

Okay, time to take a while off and write about my day[s].

I went out with Ain on Friday. =)
We went to KLCC and wanted to watch Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Some British movie that's like the run-of-the-mill chick lit.  You know what? The next available showing was at 11:20PM. And we were there at 11AM. So, we had to choose something else to watch.

In the end, we watched The Day The Earth Stood Still. It's a good movie, interesting and all, but not the best you'll ever see. Keanu Reeves is as always, emotionless. ._. I won't spoil the movie for you, you'll have to watch it yourself. =P

After that, we went to Petrosains!! =) It was fun and we enjoyed ourselves a lot.
Well, duh. It's Petrosains, who wouldn't?

On Saturday I went to AAAAR's akikah at her mom's parents' house in Gombak. MRR2 was jammed. You wanna know why? They closed one lane to trim the bushes!!! Because of that, there were only two lanes left open, and there was heavy traffic at the time. Honestly, couldn't they have picked a better time to do that?

Once we got there, they finished the cukur part already. All we had to do was pay a visit to the baby and eat the food. Ha ha, isn't life just so simple sometimes? =)

Before we went there, though. I was awaken by my sister. She told me to get up at 10 something. I fell back asleep in front of the TV. And I woke up again at 11 maybe? And the one thing that did it? Crush by David Archuleta! Honestly I have no idea why that particular song woke me up. Like, exactly when it first started I instantly opened my eyes! Now it's stuck in my head. Okay, so that must mean either:

1. David Archuleta was meant for you, so you should go after him. =P

Since I highly doubt that's the case, then maybe meaning number 2 might make more sense.

2. You've been alone for too long. Get a crush! One that'll last longer than a day.

Number 2 is something I should do. Problem is, I have no one to crush on. =( That's just sad. A teenager with no one to think about. Really sad...

That day was also Kakteh's birthday, so we went to Nawab for her birthday dinner. It's an Indian restaurant at Bukit Bintang. It wasn't bad, but I don't think they'll last long at that spot. The place was totally empty. We were the only ones there. And her birthday presents were:

1. Chanel No. 5 (OMG! That's like, seriously expensive!!)
2. A Marc Jacobs handbag. (And there's another one!!!!)
3. A purple kimono-like top from Zara. (That brand isn't exactly cheap either!)

Totally cool for her, but totally unfair for the rest of us, eh? =)

And for today, we went to eat at the chicken rice shop at Bukit Bintang (again). Not much happened just ate, but it did rain, so we couldn't go straight to the shop without getting the baby wet. So had to wait till the rain subsided. That took awhile.

After the meal, we went back to Sungei Wang. Stopped by a booth and looked at phones. Didn't buy anything, just looked, and Abg Mut couldn't believe that there was an unlocked iPhone 3G. Kakda wanted it. Ha ha, fat chance of that. It costs RM3300 for crying out loud!!

We parted there, because me, Kakya and Abg Hazwan went to Pavilion to go watch Body of Lies. And there I found out something; I can pass for over 18!!! That might not really surprise people, but still. It's nice to know, isn't it? =P

The movie was really good. And seriously violent and gruesome. Totally awesome! =) I really kesian this one guy in the movie. You'll find out why....if you watch it la. ;)

Besides that, I bought a top from Pull and Bear today. Everyone thought it looks like a table cloth. =( But I think its nice. Oh well, who cares, right?

It's been tiring.

Okay, so. It's been a few days eh? I actually have a lot to say, but I couldn't find the time till tonight. Let's start with Sunday.

Sunday, 7th December 2008

I couldn't remember exactly what happened that day, all I know is that it was my cousin Kak Liyana's birthday. You might expect me to go buy her a present, and I thought of getting her something with my sisters, but for some reason tak jadi. =/

That was the day we first went to the new JJ. Finally! But we did go around 6 something, when kakya got back from work. Actually she came back a lot earlier. But, we decided to watch some Gossip Girl on the lappy and browsed through Cleo before that. In that amount of time, my other cousins, Abg Hazwan and Hirzan ajak me to go see Bolt 3D. I was supposed to be temaning Hirzan while Abg Hazwan saw Transporter 3 with Kak Liyana. But I didn't feel like watching a movie, let alone with Hirzan, so I said no. He saw it with his mum instead. My uncle, on the other hand, came straight here. He didn't have a mood to watch a movie either. He was the one who got us off our butts to go out to JJ. Before that, though, he helped Kakya by cleaning her maybank card for her. The trip to JJ was to test whether she could use her card to cucuk duit.

So, we went to JJ.

While we were there, we stopped by the ATM machine. On the way there, Kakya developed a phobia towards jokers. How? Here's how it basically went down:

Kakya: Whoa! *panics*

Me: What? What's wrong?

Kakya: That joker poked me! *makes a sad face*

Joker: *looks at her and smiles sheepishly*

Me: *laughs*

Kakya: Stupid joker...

Kakda: What happened?

Me: Kakya was poked by that joker.

Kakya: Yeah, stupid joker...

Kakda: Aww, Kakya don't cry!

Kakya: *on the verge of tears*

Me: Yeah, Kakya, don't cry...

Kakya: Whatever.

It may not seem so..traumatic as it is, but that's what happened. Would you be calm and collected if someone suddenly poked you at your side when you were just walking around with your sisters? It's mengejutkan!! Me and Kakda just laughed about it later.

So, in the end, Kakya could cucuk duit with her card (YAY!) and we looked around JJ. For Kak Liyana's birthday, we got her a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake and bought ice cream for ourselves. =) Strawberry and Banana flavoured ice cream is seriously good.

Went to Cozy Corner after that, Kakya's treat. =D We cut the cake and ate it happily when we got home... So that's the end of Sunday.

Monday, 8th December 2008

Raya, so we went to Atuk's house at 1 something. Had lunch there with grandparents and cousins. Kutuk-ed Indonesian dramas on TV3. Ha, ha...;)

Went to Pavilion with my two sisters. We were to shop for Kakteh's birthday present and Kakda needs a formal outfit to wear to a dinner she's performing at.

Since most of the day was about shopping, I won't really get in to it much. Just a few highlights.

Kakda was depressed that she couldn't find what she was looking for, which was a cheongsam-like top. We did find a really nice cheongsam in Parkson, or was it Tangs? One of the two. Anyway, it was perfect, except that it was too revealing to be considered decent. So, no luck there. She didn't get an outfit from that shopping trip.

Kakya wanted to buy something, but clothes didn't fit the bill for the day. So, she bought a Swatch watch. It's black and silver. Took a while for her to choose one, but in the end she's happy with what she bought.

I bought a pair of sneakers from Pull and Bear. =D

We found something for Kakteh, after looking high and low for the perfect gift! Bought J.Co and headed home...That's the end of Monday.

Tuesday, 9th December 2008

Went to tuiton. Nothing new, but Mei Wern and Mei Hua were in class to ganti for Friday. A Pandu Puteri thing they have to attend. It was raining heavily when class ended.

I was wearing my new Pull and Bear sneakers!!

They got soaking wet, but luckily Kit May and me brought umbrellas, so only our shoes and the bottom of our jeans got wet. Most people had to wait under the roof of the building until the rain subsided to get back.

I got back, then kakteh called to ask if we wanted anything from JJ. Kakda asked for sushi. So we ate sushi! =) after the sushi, we went out to KLCC pulak. Kakda still needed the outfit, since she couldn't find anything at OU with Kak May. Kakya just wanted to go cause she doesn't have a life anymore. I just tagged along because I didn't feel like lazing at home.

Walked around KLCC, stopped by Topshop, Zara, Gap, Marks and Spencers, MNG, Parkson and Isetan. In the end, Kakda found something in Isetan. It was a spaghetti strap from Padini Authentics. Really nice, and she's gonna use it with her Topshop blazer. That's formal, right? Even if it isn't, it's still a nice top that she can use to class, and somehting I can always borrow. ;)

Bought a Basic Man-Ban smoothie form Juice Bar, then headed home. That's the end of Tuesday!

Wednesday, 10th December 2008

I had to go to Mak Long's house to help with Kak Ann's wedding stuff. She's getting married on the 1st of February 2009. She's making all the bunga telur and stuff all by herself. Handmade and glued by ourselves. Kakya was working, so Kakda and me went around 1 something. we reached there by 1:30.

We cut ribbons, made bows, cut small artificial flowers to be glued together with the bows and so on...It was tiring and a bit frustrating at first. I was in charge of cutting the end of the ribbons to make tails. You know, the "V" shape thing at the ends. Yeah, there were more than 300 of those riboons. I did that for about 6 hours.

We did have breaks in between, of course. We ate lunch at 2, tea at 4 and some spaghetti at 6. Ate something every two hours. Good thing I left before 8. Who knows what we would've eaten by then.

And so that's all that happened these past few days. A lot, in my case. =)
