Hello wonderful world out there!

I am just sooo happy now. Literally, now. Unfortuately this week has been very stressful, disappointing, sad as all that is wrong in the world crashed down upon the students of CBN. HOw so? Well, let me give you a list of the series of events that happened this week.

1. Drama competition

Well, the word 'drama' is in there for a reason. Most of the classes were EXTREMELY fed up with a certain (which will not be named) class that hogged the stage for practice. Out of four classes, only two had the chance to practice their drama on stage. And trust me, usage of the stage AT LEAST ONCE is very important, for lighting and coordinating purposes. So when everyone got wind that one class booked the stage for practically the whole day on Thursday (as the competition is on Friday) who wouldn't be angry? Especially since they seemed reluctant to share the time. You see, in any other week it would've been fine. Unfortunately, this week was also LANGUAGE WEEK, which meant the stage was being used for other categories as well. So the classes participating in drama had no chance to use the stage that week.

2. Accidents

Somehow this week has just been full of misfortunes and accidents. Rishantinee (from 5B) had a door slammed into her right hand! A stage door, at that. THEY'RE HUGE AND HEAVY! Thank God it was her right hand that got hit, and not her left. (she's left-handed, don't worry.) To make the day even worse, Pn Gan (add maths teacher of 5K and 5N) fell down the stairs and tore a ligament or something. And ambulance had to come and take her to the hospital. Not Rishan though, her dad came to pick her up.

3. Hospitalized person

This is a friend of mine. A fellow prefect too. I'm not too sure why exactly she's in the hospital, but all I know is she's in the ICU and had to undergo surgery. If that doesn't say something bad, then I don't know what does. We sent her a card full of wishes and love! :) Hopefully she does get well soon. She may not be able to come to school anymore but hey, as long as she's okay.

Well that's all I can think of now. This week had felt sooo long and never anding. Yesterday I slept at 2 and woke up woke up at 1. Yes, 1 in the afternoon. I guess that was to make up for the lack of sleep. Oh well.

OH YEAH!

5B won best costumes, best script, the best character portrayal by Dharshini (of 5B :P) and OVERALL BEST DRAMA! :D :D :D :D The only one we didn't get was best props. But we didn't care. We're plenty happy and grateful for what we got now. :D

Here it comes again

Hellooooo. :)

I know, I know. I haven't been here in ages! Last post I saw was.. well. I'm not gonna say I'm too happy about that one. Brings back all those bitter memories and feelings of broken heartedness.

Anyway, all I can say is, he's out of my life and out of my head.. well, okay maybe not completely out of my life, but he really is out of my head now. Yay me! :D

So, where should I start?

It's form 5 year! SPM is in November and I am nowhere near prepared. Yes, I'll proudly (and yet slightly abashedly) say it. I know abashedly is not a word, but who cares, I want to use it so there.

I'm in drama! Can you believe that, me, act? Ha. But it's true! We even made it to the finals, which is in a couple of weeks from now. I'm trying to work on it, my voice projection isn't too hot. Fingers crossed and wish me luck! I must say though, 5T is a real contender. I mean, their drama can move mountains. Like, really.

Anyway, I don't really have anything else to say.

Oh right. Other than the fact that I think that need to create some drama in my life to make it seem more interesting is coming back. But not up to the point at which I'd actually do something. My love life is pretty dull, though, I must admit. But oh well, what can I do? I can't make guys fall at my feet even if I tried.

Yeah well. I need to get some beauty sleep now. Picture day tomorrow, need to look my best! :D

This is driving me nuts.

You know, I was planning to post this as my Facebook status, but that would've been attracting too much attention to myself. So yeah, I'm gonna write it out here. It would've been more expressive had I done this an hour ago when I woke up (yes, I woke up around 1 today, so be it) but I found it more important to go eat first and YouTube Elliot Minor (as introduced to me by Harshiah, they're just AWESOME! =D). So here it goes.

I had yet another dream last night. Even in the DREAM, I tried talking to you. Even in the DREAM, you still ignore my attempt at making conversation. Even in the DREAM, I ended up talking to someone else, laughing with someone else when all I ever wanted was to talk to you, to laugh with you. Even in the DREAM, all you did was sit at the sidelines, looking indifferent, but you were still there. You're always just there. Even in the DREAM, it still hurt. How is this fair? How can I just keep feeling like this? I want to tell you, I actually do. But isn't it kinda hard when you don't even talk to me, except for the occasional comment here and there?

Almost every night, you seem to a part of my dreams. At one point it really was every night. When it stopped I thought I was finally over you. I guess not, huh, when it keeps coming back to me? And apparently Facebook makes an effort to show me a lot of posts from you on my news feed. It's like the whole world wants me to suffer. The wrong person is paying attention to me. The wrong person is giving me compliments. The wrong person is making an attempt at being close friends with me.

Frankly, I don't care who reads this. You want to figure it out? You think you know who I'm talking about? (Aside from the people who actually know who I'm talking about, and that's only about 5 other people.) Fine, whatever. But what I do know is that I want to find away to end this, because it's eating me from the inside.

You see, this is why I didn't want to post this on Facebook. Hardly anything is private on Facebook. I didn't want to start a speculation. I didn't want that person to find out through that way, not that's it's really that hard to figure out who it is, if you pay attention to me.

Does he read my blog? I doubt it. Sometimes I think it's a good thing, but sometimes I wish he did. I don't know what to think anymore on this topic.

Ohh and I realised just recently that I have a soft spot for guitarists. XD

I must admit, I haven't posted anything on this blog site for ages, and I truly am sorry about that. I've been really busy okay? I just can't find time to blog anymore. This one is fine because it's the holidays and stuff. Not that anyone actually reads this anyway but that's beside the point.

So, where do I start? After a few months of not posting anything and updating whatsoever I have to say, a lot, and I mean A LOT of stuff has happened since. Let's break it up into categories, yeah?

School.

Of course this is the first category I mention mostly because that my school life is the one that's changed the most.

First off I'd like to say that I'm actually really happy to be in 4b (i have a problem with the letter b on this keyboard so bear with me for a while. It's all copy and paste here)

There are a lot of benefits to being placed in that class. but I'd rather not talk about it. =)

That's for us to know and you guys to figure out if you want. If not just leave it at that okay?

Number two : I am now a school prefect! =)

Who would've thunk eh? It's kind of overwhelming at times, and I have a feeling my grades might drop if slack off so yeah. I need to keep up my straight A average. ;)

That's another one! People will not stop calling me a nerd slash brainiac just because I managed to get straight A's for my mid-terms. Who's to say I'll pull it off again for my finals? (Which is in three weeks if I may add) Insya-Allah I will lah, but you still can never know you know?

Number three : I have found it odd that I'm beginning to not like english all that much anymore. *All hell breaks lose*

Hahaha, don't worry, I never thought I'd ever say that myself. So if you feel dumbstruck, you're not the only one.

but it's not the language that I'm beginning to dislike, in fact I've recently rediscovered my love for writing stories again (one that I lost during PMR year). Actually it's just the subject of english in school. I think it's because of the work, and I feel that I don't like the idea of just taking english for exams anymore. it's like, such a pain. And I don't like writing essays anymore. Somehow it restricts my need for creativity, and I always feel like I need to insert a certain standard to what I'm writing. So now I keep over-thinking and over-analyzing my sentences and I keep wondering if I should use better words to describe what I'm thinking or what I'm trying to write about. haihh now english for me has become too exam oriented. How sad. =(

Music.

I know this is like, three months overdue, but I would like to mention what I received for my birthday this year.

My parents actually did give me the guitar I asked for. I didn't think they would but they did and I'm still so happy that I actually got it so now I play almost everyday whenever I can. Okay that's a long sentence. Anyway I've learned quite a lot of songs already, all made possible because I already know how to play before during form one, I just stopped because I was tired of using my brother-in-law's guitar all the time. but now I have my own so yeah. No restrictions any more yayyy! =D

but no one's ever actually heard me play before, because I don't like it when people watch me play. It feels really awkward. I just play because I love to by myself and not for anyone else. So now you know I can never be a rockstar or recording artist or whatever. Not that I can sing anyway but you get my drift.

Not only did I get a guitar, but I also got an iPod shuffle from Kakteh and Abg Mut too! =D

I was so happy when I got it especially when I didn't see it coming at all. I mean, Zara gave it to me when I was reading or something. So you could just imagine my confusion and surprise when she gave a small white box with a red band strapped across it with the Apple logo printed in silver on top. I've been listening to it since. =)

Reading.

Lately I've notice that I'm becoming a shopaholic. Not for the normal girl stuff like shoes or bags or whatever. Instead, I have a compulsion to buy a book every time I go out. All this is made more tempting when I start reading a series like the Night World series (L.J. Smith) or the Abhorsen trilogy (Garth Nix).

Now, I'm currently obsessed with finding the ending of the Night World series that is Strange Fate, the tenth book. I know what you're thinking; TEN books? It's not so bad, believe me, because they're all short books, just a lot of them to read. No problem for me though. =)

And I'm also looking for Across The Wall, because in it there's a novella called Nicholas Sayre and The Creature In The Case which is a continuation of the Abhorsen trilogy. I also heard that thee's a new one coming out but I'm not sure when or what it's called. So yeah. I'm going all crazy over these books like you have no idea.

It's gotten so bad that I'm actually reading fanfiction stories on these! Actually they're not half bad, you just to look for the right ones with proper grammar and spelling and a good plot and stuff. (Even though I said I'm losing an interest in English, I can't help but to notice these little details)

Now I find that fanfiction is one of the best parts of a book series! =)

That's all I can think of to update about at the moment. Quite a lot, isn't it? Hmm, oh well, it's not very often that I get to update here anyway, even if it is just on three categories of my life.

VI's Treasure Hunt

So I wanted to post this yesterday, but I really just didn't have the energy for it.

I woke up at 6 something, closer to 7 and got ready. I was supposed to meet up with Farhanah, Dian, Rosmah and Denielle at the McD in Masjid Jamek by 8.15.

I was kinda late getting there because Kakya didn't want to drive the Estima so she had to take it out and re-park it because it was blocking the Mini. So by the time I got to Masjid Jamek I was 10 minutes late.

But so was Denielle so yeah. Farhanah's parents didn't mind.

From there they drove us to VI. Farhanah's parents were like, betul ke ni? Macam tak de orang je. They were worried about leaving us there. I mean, a small group of CBNers in VI? What parent in their right mind wouldn't think twice about it, right? But they let us go in anyway, and it turns out everyone had to assemble in an open hall not far from the main gate.

Registration time. We were the last group of CBNers to register, there were two other groups besides us, both were form 5s. After that we waited for the treasure hunt to start. While I was waiting I looked around att he other schools. Actually I just first looked at the VI guys, seeing if I knew anyone. But I only knew one person there.

Then I noticed there were two groups from SAB. I recognized Crystal and Nasreen. I only talked to Nasreen though.

So it started a little past nine. The ketua guy told the group leaders to gather around him (mine being Dian) so that he could give our first clue.

He gave a baby picture of a guy, and told us to find him in this clearing in between two buildings in the school. We went off on a slow start because the guy we were looking for was hiding behind the building. He's supposed to be our 'shadow', someone who has to follow us at all times and guide us through out the treasure hunt. His name is Colin.

So once we found him, he gave us a sheet of paper with a bunch of Math problems on it. Our first impulse was to solve them, right? But they were impossibly hard to figure out. Then Colin told us to read the hint at the bottom of the page. It read : Be smart and observant.

So we looked at it carefully and figured it out. We took out the letters in the equations and arranged them to get BKJALIL. Bukit Jalil.

Off we ran out of the school towards the LRT station. It was epic.

There were at least 2 teams from each school, and there were a lot of schools participating, trust me. Everyone was running, trying to get to the station as fast as possible.

People with touchngo's just breezed through, but the rest had to line up and buy the tickets. We thought we were way behind, but luckily for us, the train hadn't reached yet when we got up on the platform. So almost all of the teams were on the same train.

After 20 minutes we got to Bukit Jalil station. Everyone ran out as soon as the doors opened and it was like a tidal wave coming down the staircases. It was so cool! Very movie-like.

We all ran up to this viewing deck or something where the base guys were waiting for us. We got a sheet of paper with a grid of letter on it. we were supposed to find the phrase THE STATUE OF LIBERTY in the mess. I found it, but it took a while. We were faster than a few teams la.

We gave our answer to the base guy, and he gave us our next clue. It was UNION JACK.

My first thought was dataran merdeka. Then somehow we were thinking, is it dataran merdeka or stadium merdeka? Then Dian said that Stadium Merdeka was under renovation. Colin said, if it isn't stadium merdeka, then it has to be dataran merdeka. So off we went back to the station and went to Masjid Jamek.

We missed the train that everyone else was on, we had to wait for the next one. Another 20 minutes passed by. We ran out as soon as we got to Masjid Jamek and jogged/ran/walked to Dataran Merdeka. But we went kinda slow because Rosmah was feeling sick. The base guys were waiting at the very edge of Dataran Merdeka, where we had to run to get there. The whole team, including our shadow, had to be there for them to give the clue.

Our task was to take a picture of 5 different 7-11s and 3 different stations within 45 minutes. And we had to be in the pictures as well. first we walked around Masjid Jamek and found one 7-11. Then we went to the station to get Pasar Seni. We took pictures at the PUTRA masjid Jamek Station and the Pasar Seni one. At Pasar Seni we found 3 7-11s and went back to Masjid Jamek. Took a picture of the STAR station and took another picture of a 7-11 near the station. Back to Dataran Merdeka. More running. Showed them the pictures, and he gave us the next clue.

He simply said "H TOWER. Tell me the answer." Denielle said HSBC. Wrong. Rosmah and Dian said KLCC at the same time. "Correct! Please proceed to KLCC."

Back to the LRT. =.=

Oh, at the time, we were with the SAB group. Once we reached KLCC, we went out the fountain place and there they were, at the side, waiting for us. We told us the number of our group and they made note of the time. "You have an hour and a half lunch break. Come meet us again at 1.57"

So we left Colin there with his friends and went to eat Burger King. Then we went to Kinokunya just for fun. Went to the Convention Centre at 1.30. Had to wait till 1.57 to get out next clue. They gave us a puzzle and told us to crack the code and find the missing numbers. The hint was 'use something that helps you with words'.

we didn't get it, then asked Colin. He said, electronic dictionary. Farhanah took out her phone and used the T9 setting in the text messaging place. Dian, Denielle and I figured out the code. Farhanah pressed the numbers and got I AM AN INTERACTER or something like that. We showed the base guy, he told us to go to Times Square.

We got to Times Square and had to look for this guy in Starbucks. He gave us a clue and we had to look for someone in the food court. He told us to go to Pavilion. We went back, and we had to go to the place opposite Louis Vuitton. We were given a sheet, and told to find VICTORIA INST.

We found it, and we were told to go back to VI. Off back to the monorail station. Got there, ran all the way to VI. I remember cursing why it had to be on a hill.

In the end we finished 23 out of 29. Tied with Sri Sentosa and one other school. I can't remember which, I was just too glad it was over. The other 2 teams from CBN finished a lot earlier than us but I honestly didn't care. After everyone got there, the organizer guy thanked us and gave away the prizes for the top 3 finishers. And get this: first place was a team from St. John's. How nice, isn't it? =)

Once all was aid and done, the VI guys did the hakka and it was time for everyone to go home..

Unfortunately I still had to walk back with Denielle. From Hang Tuah station --> Masjid Jamek STAR--> Masjid Jamek PUTRA--> Setiawangsa. I didn't even get to sit on the train.

when I got home I watched A Haunting In Connecticut with my sisters on the apple TV.

That's basically it.

I was damn tired, but it was a whole lot of fun. =)

Ugly Betty

OMG I'm sooo really super depressed whenever my sisters call me that.

Because now I'm wearing glasses!!

Technically only one eye needs the glasses, which is my right eye.

My left eye is okay.

But I still have to wear them to correct the defect while I'm still young.

My uncle did suggest to use contact lenses, just for one eye, like my cousin.

But I don't feel comfortable with the idea of contact lenses.

So I made glasses yesterday, in KLCC.

At first I thought it was weird that only one eye was rabun, the optometrist guy said it's called Master's eye, which means my brain has been using only one eye to focus one things. Which must be why I didn't really realise my vision was slightly blurry.

Apparently, my dad has it too. According to my mom, he made glasses once, I don't know how many years ago, but he never wore them. My cousin has it (the one with one contact lens).

I don't know how many other I people I know has it too. So it runs in the family. Curse my gene pool. =.="

So yeah, now I'm wearing glasses.

They're purple and black.

I feel dizzy now, but the optometrist said it'll take a few days to get used to them.

And I've got a treasure hunt tomorrow.

Oh great.

Can I just quit?

I feel very under appreciated.

It's not good for me to be this way.

I haven't had a proper carefree recess since.. the first week of this year.

That's like, 28 recess periods I'll never get back.

Such a waste of time and energy.

Don't wonder why I've lost my spirit.

You'd totally get it if you ever paid attention to what I've done for all this.

Now the teachers are accusing me of harassing them. >=(

I always love it when I go back there.

It's so peaceful, I completely forget about my life in KL.

Which is exactly what happened this weekend.

I didn't even think about my homework. At least the ones that I didn't bring along with me.

Yes, I brought along my homework. I was gone for three days. If I had left all of my homework here, I'd have to use up all of today to get any of it done! So yeah.

It wasn't much anyway. I finished it all on Saturday, right after we got to my Grandmother's house in Rusila.

So, what did I do there?

Actually the first place we went was the hospital. A relative was sick so we went lah.

Unfortunately, though, we went before the visiting hours. That was around 4, I think. Visiting hours start at 5. That mak cik guard at the door was SO RUDE! My dad was like, halfway through the door and she just closed it in his face. So he had to reverse. =.="

Seriously. I was really pissed off at that.

Then we went in through the other door somewhere at the back. Or was it another building altogether? Dunno. I was already in a bad mood by then so I didn't pay attention to anything.

In the end, me and Kakya didn't get to go in. It was just my parents, and a few of my other relatives who came with us.

Well, it was more appropriate that was anyway. Truth be told, I wasn't sure who it was. A distant relative, you could say. It didn't a make a stitch of a difference if we went in the first place.

After all that, we went to the beach side to eat fish and squid fried in this super yummy batter. But guess what? The place we usually go to, which is actually somewhere behind the airport, ISN'T NEAR THE BEACH ANYMORE! Yeah, they like, reclaimed the land and tambak-ed it. I have no idea what they're gonna do with the newly added land, but it completely spoiled the view. But the food was still good so that made up for it. =)

That night was fantastic. We went out to eat at Batu Burok Beach's A&W. Right by the sea, out in the open air. (Of course that was the smoking area, but no one was actually smoking at the time. Even better! =D)

That night was made even better because it was a full moon. So the view by the sea was absolutely breathtaking. The moon's reflection was on the calm sea. And the clouds all around it had a silver lining. Families and couples were walking on the beach, enjoying the view and the cool breeze. Beautiful, I tell you. You can't get something like that in the city.

Then we ate waffles and ice cream! Ahh..the sweet joy. =D

Of course, it was during that time we didn't have a proper camera. Mine was running out of batteries so we couldn't take any really nice pictures.

So we went again the next night.

But it was during sunset too.

It wasn't at the beach, no. We went to the Tengku Tengah Zaharah Mosque AKA the 'Floating' Mosque / Masjid Terapung.

Beautiful there as well. Once we got there the sky was like, purple and pink. And the mosque's dome and minaret were lit up by lights. And the water surrounding the mosque was perfectly still so you could see the reflection in perfect detail.

I might upload some pictures later, if I can get my hands on them. (They're with my dad now)

Then we waited for the moon to come up. One word: AMAZING!

I had never been so happy to see the moon. That night though, it was slightly orange in colour. It must've been the air. So yeah, I really liked those nights. When else am I gonna see something so beautiful and spend time with my family at the same time?

The food there on the other hand, not very satisfying. Surprisingly. All the good spots were too full by the time we ever got there so we had to find somewhere else to eat. Trust me when I say, there's a good reason why some restaurants are empty during lunch/dinner hours. DO NOT EAT THERE! Wasting you time and money. And killing your mood to eat as well.

But, make no mistake, the keropok lekor was good. =)

Just make sure you buy them in Losong. The original and yummy ones are there.

And the nasi dagang! And nasi lemak with ikan tongkol! Haish, I'm feeling hungry just thinking about it. =)

So my trip was good. I'm looking forward to going there again in June. =D

Depression

Ahh, I feel like I've abandoned this blog! (Though my last post was about 2 weeks ago)

I guess you could call that abandoning. What can I say? I'm just too busy. =(

One thing that should come to no surprise, I'm depressed.

I hate being depressed.

And yet I'm depressed over so many things!

I see depression in everything I look at.

School.

I always feel so lazy to wake up in the morning. I absolutely HATE my school bus. It's too packed with people, I always never get a seat, so I'm left standing on the bus for an average of two hours every day (including when I go back by bus).

My class is separated from the other Form 4s. We have to stay next to the ever-so-noisy 3B. Makes it extremely hard to concentrate especially if the teacher speaks softly.

We can't make noise either because 4B is supposed to be the "good" class. We get scolded for being noisy even though we aren't, by comparison to other classes.

WHY MUST WE BE UNDER SO MUCH EXPECTATION?!

Homework.

I'm not exactly complaining about the amount of homework we're getting. I admit it's a lot, but it's nothing I can't handle for the time being. It's just the very idea of getting homework is what's depressing me. (You could call it my mindset) ;P

Friends.

Well, to begin with, I don't have many friends I'm comfortable with no matter what. The person who I'm most comfortable with now might be moving to SM Sains Seri Puteri. I'm happy for her for getting the offer and all, but I really don't want her to go. =(

All of my other close friends are in the NEXT class. In a completely different block. The only time I ever get to see them is during recess and after school. IF I HAVE ANY TIME.

Home.

As usual, no one's at home. Only at night. The only time I spend with my family now is when I stay in front of the TV to watch American Idol with them. And dinner time. That's basically it.

Love life.

What can I say about this? There's no hope in hell that I'm ever going to get a boyfriend. A crush, at least. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

And seeing everyone else have a boyfriend makes me even more depressed! I'm doomed to stay single until.. after I leave school I guess. And when will that be? AGES FROM NOW. >=(

Aging.

I'm gonna be sixteen in June. Where did the time go? I wish I was a little kid again where I couldn't care less if I annoyed people. (which I notice is absolutely true with kids between the ages of 4 - 10) The whole bus thing. I actually learned something from the horrible experience. =.="

Everything I tell you, EVERYTHING!!!!

And tomorrow I've got an exam. EVEN BETTER. (Note the sarcasm.)

I find plenty of opportunities to be sarcastic now. Easy when you're so pissed off at everything.

Stress

It's only the second day of school and everyone's freaking stressed.

We haven't even gotten out textbooks yet!

And they're giving them on Monday.

Monday.

We only have a week to look at our books before the first exam starts.

I really wonder what they're to going to question us with. =.=

Today our teachers actually entered the class.

First was BM. Very confusing.

Why? Because I had no idea what my teacher was talking about. And she was looking directly at me pulak. =.=

After that was Add Maths. Pn Lim is a good teacher, but sometimes she went way too fast for us to catch up. And that was only chapter 2.1 (we're skipping chapter 1 first because we won't be able to finish it by next week)

Surprisingly I quite like Add Maths. 0.0

I know, even I can't believe I just admitted that.

But I guess it's not bad, you just need to stay calm and not panic when you see people around you solving it so quickly. Take it slow at first. That's what I did.

Based on that one lesson, I knew being in 4B is seriously tearing down my self esteem. I can't say I'm smarter anymore. (Or at least pretend to be) =(

During recess I tried buying my school books. It was a long line. Like, really long.

Alini and me were almost in the front when the bell rang. =.=

A prefect halau-ed us from the bookshop and told us to line up in the canteen and listen to the teachers talking in the assembly.

I was so close. =(

So then it was Agama. 4B muslim students shifted to 4K while the non muslims from 4K shifted to 4B.

We had Pn. Che Siah. =D

I like her. She's nice. And I like the way she talks. It's so soothing.

After Agama was English with Ms Anusya.

She looks scary, and she is kinda, like in a strict don't-sass-me kind of way. But she's cool.

She didn't give us any homework (Thank God!!) instead she talked about our English paper format for SPM, oral and the possibility of choral speaking being brought back for the form 4s.

Not that I have a problem with that, but I'm just scared it'll clash with a lot of stuff.

When school ended at 1.10, me and Alini went straight to the bookshop. We were in a rush because if you were late getting there, the line would've extended way too far for you to hope to go home before 2. Luckily there weren't many yet so we bought out books fast.

I still had to get a signature on a photostat copy of my PMR results slip for Kasturi. (We get to claim RM80 as a reward for getting straight As and we get RM40 off every month for the whole year.)

Me, Hidayah, Dian and Nadhra walked from the canteen to the office, but Pn. Ann wasn't there. Pn Chee told us to go find a teacher on duty.

First we looked for Pn Tan. Off to the counseling room on the other side of campus. She wasn't there. =.="

Back to the other side to look for Pn Norizan. She was in the canteen having lunch. Cannot kacau her. Off to the library to look for En Rohizan. He wasn't there either.

Dian gave up after Pn Tan wasn't there and left with her mum.

We tried Pn Norizan again. This time it was us plus Elaine and Nadine.

Off to the office. Again. She agreed to sign! =D

So then Nadhra left for Kasturi with Hidayah tumpang-ing her car.

Me and Kit May (who had hers signed already) walked to the LRT. We got a chance to catch up after a couple of months. =)

Kasturi was a disaster. I don't even want to explain.

All I want to say is, I registered and am going for Tuesdays and Fridays.

End of topic.

I went back at 3, hoping that I might be able to catch my mum at home before she left for work, but I knew that that was a lost cause. I had to walk home. =(

At Setiawanga LRT, though, I bumped into Adib and Rais!

Unexpected, but it was a pleasant surprise. We didn't talk much, though. At all, really. The only person I talked to was Adib. I'm not quite sure why I didn't talk to Rais. =/

So while I was on my way back, guess who I ran into next?

I met with Muzamel in front of his house. =.=

That was REALLY unexpected. He was just dropped off (by Insyira, I bet. I think I saw her in the car, but I couldn't be too sure) while I was passing in front of his house. We said hey. Then I started walking again and he went in. >.<"

So that was my day. It kinda sucked, I was frustrated at quite a lot of stuff. But there were highlights. Especially the unexpected run-ins. =)

First Day

First of all lemme just clear a few things out of the way.

(I know this is probably a bit overdue but hey, better late than never, right?)

Just to point it out, I had an awesome 2009.

Who didn't? You only get one of those in a lifetime.

And now, we've stepped into 2010.

It's a new decade.

The perfect time to make more awesome memories.

Okay, good. Now that that's out of the way, let's start on what happened today.

I'm gonna tell this according to time.

5.45AM

I woke up and got ready for school.

6.30AM

Waited for my bus. Feared that I somehow missed it. Started wondering if I should call down my mum and ask her to send me to school as soon as possible.

6.45AM

The bus came. =)

7.20AM

Reached school. Went up huge staircase next to the AIA building. Short of breath. (The lack of exercise finally got to me) Reached the school canteen. Met friends, said hi, hugged.

Reading session. Shirley the scary form 6 prefect yelled at us to start reading. We took out out storybooks. No one read anything. ;)

7.30AM

Everyone files into the hall, noisily. We get scolded for not respecting the school rules. Sing NegaraKu, Wilayah song and the BM version of our school song. Recite the ikrar and ikrar pelajar. Sit down quietly.

Listen to a continuous stream of different teachers welcoming us back to the school and talk about homework, co-curricular activities and lockers.

An important announcement: Intervensi for form 3s and 5s start near the end of January. The first exam for form 4s start around that time too. =.="

8.15AM (I think)

All the students except the form 4s leave the hall and enter their respective classes. The form 4s sit down quietly and chat in low voices. (Or at least try to)

Mr. Hoo takes the mic and explains how students placed in their classes cannot switch unless they switch streams. (Meaning: if you're in pure science and get placed in 4B, you can't switch to 4U because they're the same stream. But you can switch to 4A because it's a different stream -- commerce)

Reads out the names of girls who are to be in 4B. I was one of them. =)

I don't know what happened next because the girls in 4B had to go to their own class.

10.15AM

Recess time! Caught up with other girls form other classes. Asked about who's the monitor, what class they're in, who's teaching them what and so on.

At the canteen, the monkeys were being totally annoying. One was so close to us, we didn't notice, and when we did Dian tried to run away but fell instead. =.=

Now it seems that recess is too short. There's not much time left to talk. =(

10.40AM

Recess ends. Everyone goes into the hall. Exits after a few announcements.

10.50AM

We walk back to class. The upside of being in 4B is that we get to leave first! But that doesn't take off the stress we're gonna be put in.

The form 3s and 5s stayed in the hall to get their SPBT books. Because of that the teachers were too bust to even make it to class. And that meant most of the form 4s roaming around from class to class, looking for their former classmates and vent about how they hate being in separate classes.

In my case, girls from 4B went to 4U and vice versa until 4U's class teacher decided to come in for a bit. So 4B was on our own for the rest of the morning and afternoon.

In that time, I just sat and talked with Alini, Aida, Jannah and Jane. We talked about what to take for our 10th subject. I'm thinking of Geography, but Jane's got me interested in Literature in English. But that one's hard to score in. And there aren't any text books or reference books to come in handy.

Then Simone came round with a camera. Bak kata Alini, "Pandai awak, Simone, bawak camera on the day prefects tak buat spot check."

Which is true, I guess. =)

So we took some pictures and laughed our heads off.

12.50PM

The first bell rings. Reading session for afternoon girls. Morning girls stay put.

1.00PM

The second bell rings. Afternoon girls file into the hall. Morning girls still do nothing.

1.05PM

Third bell rings. Afternoon girls greet teachers and sing all the songs. Morning girls mistake it for the last bell and pack up.

1.10PM

Final bell rings. Afternoon girls most probably sit and listen to their teachers talking. Morning girls go home.

I didn't go home straight away, though. I wanted to go buy my books, but I decided I'll buy them tomorrow.

Erniza, Adibah and Nabihah were buying, so I waited for them instead of taking the bus home.

In the meantime, I went to look for Pn. Ti to collect my locker key and pay the RM50 deposit.

Met with a couple of my juniors and chatted a bit in front of the bookshop.

1.45PM

Once everyone was ready, we walked down the hill, went through the lorong St. John and walked the opposite direction towards Dang Wangi LRT station. Technically we did a huge U-turn. We could've gone down the huge staircase, but we thought it was closed so decided to take the long route instead.

I had to walk home. My first of the year! =D

Movie Day

Okay, so.

It was Christmas yesterday, so Merry Christmas.

Last night, me, my sister and my cousins were bored.

So we went out for a movie.

Or at least we tried.

GSC at Pavilion was so full it was hard to move around.

And I'm not exaggerating when I say that!

We wanted to watch Sherlock Holmes, you see.

Initially we wanted to watch the 7.20 show with Kakteh and Abg Mut as well. (She was on-call the next day so she wanted an earlier show)

But as expected, no seats left.

So we decided on the 10.15 pm show instead.

Of all nights, that was the night where we couldn't buy tickets online via credit card.

For some reason.

So we had to go there ourselves, line up and buy them.

Such a waste of time and energy!

Luck was not with us.

The 10.15 show was sold out.

But we were so determined to watch it, we bought tickets for the next day (meaning today).

Sherlock Holmes at 11.45AM, GSC, Pavilion.

Not a bad movie. It was quite interesting, actually, but everyone was sleepy.

Why?

Well, before the movie started, we bought hot dogs, popcorn and drinks from the counter.

Not only that, we bought Chicken Popcorn from KFC as well. Had to smuggle it in la. ;)

Ate it in the theatre. Full like crazy mann!

After Sherlock Holmes, Kakya and I wanted to watch the Vampire's Assistant.

We bought the tickets for the 5.10PM show before we went in for Sherlock Holmes.

When the first movie ended it was around 2. So we had 3 hours to kill.

And so starts the shopping. At first it was Tangs. We bought a whole lot of chocolate. Like, RM100's worth. (Since you can claim 2 hours' free parking when you spend over RM100 in a single receipt)

And did we need those 2 hours' free parking!

We (well, 3 of us, actually) ate Subway, since Kakya like, mengidamkan it. For reasons I do not know. It had something to do with the night I went out with Aimi, Malik and Izzudin at Jusco. Don't ask.

After that we went our separate ways. I walked around with Kakya, waiting for 5 o'clock to come around.

Kakda went back with Abg Hazwan and Kak Liyana. (My other sis and my two cousins)

We (me and Kakya) went shopping around Forever 21 and Cotton On. Didn't buy anything.

Went up the the 6th floor. Got sidetracked to Video Ezy on the way to Starbucks. Didn't buy anything there either.

Reached Starbucks. I got myself a Caramel Cream. Kakya bought the Cranberry and Grapefruit juice bottle thingy.. (I don't know what it's called)

Really pahit and masam. Not my cup of tea.

So we spent our time in Starbucks until it was 5.

The Vampire's Assistant at 5.10PM, GSC, Pavilion.

Now this was the movie I've been waiting for.

I've even read the books! Though I haven't finished reading the very last one, which is the 12th book, mind you. Reading it as we speak. =)

The movie, which is supposedly based on the first 2 books, is completely, well, maybe not completely, but considerably so, different from what I've read.

A good movie, I must say. It was funny. I liked it, but I just have to say that it's not like the book.

There were characters that didn't exist in the book but appeared in the movie, and the characters that existed in the book weren't in the movie..I'd say they switched it up.

So there's no hope the later movies (if they ever make them) will be like the rest of the Darren Shan Saga. Sadly. It's such a nice collection.

So that's that then.

After the movie we went home straight away.

Not before forgetting where we parked and roamed around the parking lot a bit.

Dah lah pening from staying in Pavilion for 8 hours, we had to look for our car.

What a day!

But I enjoyed it. =)

PMR Results Day

The pre-results feeling was killing me.

The night before, I felt sleepy.

But by the time I closed my bedroom door behind me, I couldn't sleep a wink.

So I tossed and tuned until about... 2 maybe?

Then I woke up at 7 something.

Reached school by 9. (I know, awal kan?)

At that time, it was just me, Alini, a few girls from 3A and few from 3B.

Not that many to begin with.

When it was nearing 9.45, the school canteen was filling up.

Not just by form 3's, but parents were waiting anxiously too.

Pn. Ann went to get the results at 10.

We were like, "WHAT?! We have to wait longer now????"

So pissed.

Getting more excited/anxious/nervous.

One or two were so nervous they cried.

Canteen's getting noisier.

A group of people get up and walk to the hall. (just to be early, you know)

Everyone notices and gets up as well.

We all file into the hall.

Everyone sits, asking their friends to be with them.

Holding hands.

Hugging each other good luck.

Pn. Ann steps on stage.

The hall falls silent.

The tension grows thick.

In fact, it was so thick you could slice it like you do with butter.

She gives a speech.

Thanks the students and parents for being here today.

Congratulates all the form 3's, no matter what the outcome.

Quotes Shakespeare. (I can't recall what, I had more important things in mind at the time)

States that this year, 67 students got straight A's.

Percentage of those who passed was almost 99%.

2 students failed Maths.

1 Failed BM.

100% passed was for English, Geo and surprisingly Science.

Starts to announce the girls who got straight A's (8A's and 7A's) and 7A 1B.

She starts with 3B. Moves on to 3U, 3K, and 3T.

All those whose names were mentioned stepped on stage.

Smiling, laughing, crying. All out of happiness.

Then comes 3N. Quite a number of girls.

3A. Even more so.

3W. Also quite a number of girls.

Then, 3P.

As Pn. Ann said, "Now, 3P. The best performing class."

That was more than enough to get us all excited and anticipate the best.

I listened closely. Held on the Sonia's hand as hard as I could.

Practically jumped up when I heard her call out my name.

All I was thinking when I got up on that stage was, "I got 8A's!!!!"

I hugged Dian. She was practically screaming and jumping with joy.

Denise was like, "Dian, you need to calm down. The stage might collapse."

But who cares! Everyone was just too happy to be bothered.

So once we got off the stage to collect our certificates and result slips, those who got 8 and 7 A's tried to comfort those who didn't.

We took pictures.

Laughed.

Cried.

Hugged.

Congratulated.

Lots of stuff.

It was an emotional whirlpool.

So in the end, out of the 67 girls who scored straight A's, 20 of them were from 3P.

Yes, myself included. =D

Oh the joy.

No one can take away this happiness from me.

So, to those who got straight A's, Congratulations.

And to those who didn't, it's not the end of the world.

(I know you might think this is easy for me to say, considering the results that I got, but it's true)

You don't need to get 8A's in PMR to succeed.

So now, let's focus on SPM! =.='"

I loved this week.
I really did.
I don't even know where to start.
Okay umm.... how about I list them?
They may not be in order but..I'll try my best yeah?

1. I went out a lot. Like, almost every day of the week. (With who is a different matter)
2. I watched a bunch of movies. Two days ago I watched Zombieland and today I watched Avatar. =)
3. I've read quite a lot. Right now I'm in the middle of the Darren Shan saga. (The Vampire's Assistant movie is based on those books)
4. We bought a bookcase at IKEA! It's green. But it was real pain to assemble it.
5. I've proven to myself (in front of a few people) that I can play Expert level on Guitar Hero.
6. I finished watching You're Beautiful. It took a few days, but all those hours in front of YouTube were worth it!
7. I got my braces off. =D

Yeah, I think that's about it.
But maybe I left out a few little things.
It's not exactly easy to remember what happened this week right off the top of yor head you know!

Oh, and this is something quite irrelevant, but I'm comteplating on forgetting that guy.
(This may only concern a selected few)
Just felt like stating that out loud.
Makes me believe it more too.
And really, it's okay to state stuff like that to convince yourself, as long as not everyone gets the picture.

I did something really really stupid.

I'm so freaking pissed at myself right now.

A mistake anyone, well, a lot of people make.

But it's so stupid!

I could've avoided it.

It's no big deal.

In fact, it's stupid.

And what happened when I clicked on that link?

The page loaded to somewhere else.

What page was I on previously?

I waited all morning to watch it.

Then I made the stupid mistake of clicking on a link without holding down the 'control' button.

ALL MORNING I waited.

For nothing.

I AM SO MAD!!!! >=(

You must think I'm irrational for being mad at this.

But you must understand my frustration.

This is a video that I'm crazy obsessed over watching.

I waited a long time for it load completely.

Kept on checking on it to see if it's done.

Then it was.

So I was gonna watch it.

But I got sidetracked by something.

Then poof! It's gone.

Goodbye Westerns, Hello Asians

I'm sure you're wondering what this is about.
Recently, the whole obsession over Japanese/Korean dramas has started up again.

This time though, somehow my aunt got pulled into it as well.
It's still got me dumbfounded how that happened.

It all started about a 2 weeks ago, or maybe one, I'm not sure, when Kakya and I went into Speedy in Pavilion.
She bought The Legend of Hong Gil Dong.
Because she didn't finish watching it before.
Or something.
Anyway, I watched the first 2 episodes with her.
And guess what?
I was interested in it.
and once I'm interested in a story, there's almost no way for you to make me stop thinking about it.
Which results in me going to sleep at 4 something just because I wanted to finish watching the whole season.
Which had 24 episodes, by the way.
Each lasting about an hour or so.

It's not that i just watch it at night, when everyone's asleep.
No, I watch it in the daytime as well.
One of those times, my aunt watched an episode or two with me.
I was tempted to switch it off and change to Astro, but my selfishness got in the way.
There was no hope in geting me switch to regular TV once I'm hooked on something.
Except of course if my dad's the one who wants to watch TV.
That's another story.
I didn't expect my aunt to be hooked onto the show as well.
That was the most shocking.

Now she wants to bring it back to Oman with her to watch.

Well, I'm glad to say I've finished watching it already.
Truth be told, I did not like the ending.
It was too... grim.
If I may say so myself.
But the whole series in general was good.
I laughed, (and cried, admittedly).
Let's just sa I was too caught up in the moment.
Jang Geun Suk is SO HANDSOME!!!!!! =D

Eventhough some may argue that he looks too feminine.
But that's just because of the hair.

With the end of one, comes another.
But I haven't even got hold of it yet.

As usual, after watching a drama, I always obsess a bit over it.

Oh how I love it. It's so useful and satisfying when it comes to getting info.
Actually I was looking up the sequel to Hong Gil Dong.
That's where I found out about You're Beautiful.
Looks interesting, but like I said,I don't have it yet.
Can't wait, though. =)

New Moon

The very first day it's out, and there you go.

I watched it.

Not that different from when I watched Twilight last year.

Basically the same, with the over excited girls and the guys hanging around going, "this is so gay" and of course, me sort of obsessing afterwards.

But this time though, I went with Aimi instead of Malik.

And it wasn't the very first show.

But it was still good.

For some reason, I'm kinda depressed.

I explained to Aimi earlier that I get depressed after obsessing over stuff like this.

Maybe because it's something my life lacks?

What is it that my life lacks, you must be wondering.

Hmm.. I'm not quite sure either.

But I think it's something along the line of.. mystery?

Or love.

Either one.

Excitement in that kind of sense.

I guess.

Yeah, I'm totally not making sense right now.

It's the New Moon craze talking.

Anyway, about the movie.

I liked it.

Oh yes, I did.

JACOB BLACK IS SHIRTLESS!! =D

Oh god, my heart melted at the scene.

And this is something I want to clarify right here and now.

A Christmas Carol

Watched the 3D version with my sis at Pavilion this evening.

Truth be told, it wasn't that great.

I couldn't really enjoy it much either.

There was thing with the seats and being scared of being thrown out...my sister's words, not mine.

But it was okay, but I wouldn't say it's worth going for a second time.

Old Pals

Oh how I simply loved today.

UPSR results were announced.

A bunch of us, namely, me, Aimi, Shaza, Nasfatee, Malik, Rais, Faris and Husaini, went to SKS to see it la.

This year, 94 students got 5A's.

Not that bad, eh? =)

My next door neighbour got 4A's.

My cousin got 5. Go Sofia!

Anyway, after all of that was done, the hall emptied and we just stuck around..taking pictures, talked to Cikgu Wan Rosli a bit. (Though he doesn't actually know me..hahahaha)

Then we moved on to the other blocks.

And came all the way up to 6A, 6B and 6C!

Our old classes when we were in year 6.

We sat in every single one of them.

Took pictures.

Reminisced.

Took more pictures.

Of course, on the way up we met Pn. Raja Maznah.

She still remembers all of us! =D

But, she didn't exactly get all of our names right.

Guess what she called Malik the first time?

Malik Hashim bin Raihan.

Hahahaha.

But it was close, no?

Good enough, since we left about 3 years ago.

Good news for me is that she remembered my name. Except that she thought my dad's name was Yusoff instead of Jamil. Oh well, can't expect too much, now can we?

The visit to the school was good and memorable.

God, I miss that school.

Once we got so hungry up to the point that we just had to eat, we left.

But not before stopping by Centrum first.

Just across the street, SKS is gonna have this dinner tomorrow.

On the rooftop.

Quite nice, actually.

Very extravagant.

After seeing all that, we finally went to McD.

See, everything is just within waling distance, actually.

So it was very convenient.

Plus, we were walking in a group so the distance was like, nothing to us.

Some more good news, Shaza's dad belanja-ed all of us.

Why?

Because Shaza's sister got 4A's and 1B.

So that was like, a 'kenduri sambutan'. Or something like that.

But we still bought our own ice cream.

Well, some of us did.

I ended up buying one for Malik. Just because I felt too nice at the time.

(Malik, you better be nice to me some time)

But then, we were all kind of in a good mood so no one cared.

Julia Nabilah joined us at one point.

And so, like most of the outings we have, what do we do?

Talk.

Laugh.

Kacau.

Hahaha..bet you were expecting me to say 'share' huh?

Er...no such thing. Haha.

Everyone went back.

But me, Shaza and Nasfatee went to Aimi's house.

What happened there was.. private and confidential.

Hahaha.

No, it was just talking.

Just normal girl-talk.

But I really enjoyed it.

Today was a good day.

When we start form 4, eh, no. When PMR results are announced, I have a feeling people are gonna be busy afterwards.

Last Day

I can now say that it's officially...err.. official.. that school has ended for the year of 2009. =)

At least the form 3's lah.

Form 4's have until Friday and well, need I mention the form 5's?

They sure won't have any rest anytime soon..

Which brings me to say this:

not that anyone would actually be reading this, but hey, it's the thought that counts, right?

Anyway, today was good. I liked it.

I brought Boggle with me, so I played pretty much all day with Erniza, Sonia and Ati.

Of course, what last day of school wouldn't be complete without a photography session? =D

That was both fun and... painful.

Yeah, it was painful alright. Especially at the back of the knees.

That's what you get for bending slightly down to pose in a group photo (well, several, actually) with a lot of cameras waiting to be used.

I think there were about 6, maybe more cameras wanting to take the same picture, but with only one person there to take them.

So yeah, it was a long shoot.

Today was really good towards the end.

Cameras flashing at every turn.

Classmates saying goodbye, all too aware that this is they're final year (maybe, maybe not) together as classmates, for next year, in form 4, we're all gonna be separated, after 3 years together.

Ehem...mind the jiwang-ness of that sentence. Think of someone saying that in a really emo, depressed, on-the-verge-of-crying type voice.

Yeah.

I'm gonna miss 3P.

I really am, even though they annoy the heck out of me.

Then again, isn't that the beauty of it all?

The fact that we can still remain friends despite all the ups and downs?

I think that's the best friendship there is. =)

Guitar Hero

It's official.

I'm totally addicted to playing Guitar Hero.

Almost everyday, in fact.

Worse than before.

Because now, we have two guitars to play with.

Actually the second guitar came only yesterday, but since then, I've been playing a lot with Abg Mut and Kakya.

Then again, even before we had two guitars, I was already wearing my fingers out trying to nail those songs!

Right now, I'm starting to get used to playing on Hard difficulty.

As you may imagine, it's umm..hard. -.-'" Hahaha.

It's really fun though.

I can't get enough of it.

My fingers are really stating to hurt a bit.

But I don't care.

I'm still gonna play after this.

Hmm...you know, the pain doesn't stop at my fingers only.

I signed myself up for the inter-class ping pong competition.

It's gonna be on the 16th of November.

So I still have a bout a week left to practice.

Where do I practice?

I might've practiced at home, but right now that's not possible.

The ping pong table's not here. ='(

It's somewhere in... either Kajang or Puchong.

But its ok. Pn. Gan lets us practice at school in the Ping Pong Room.

So, yesterday, when I actually came to school, (I didn't go today, hahaha, malas nak naik LRT) I played with Foong, Sue Jiun, Leena and Rishantinee at first. Then Hannah, Amaani and Khairun nisa joined, followed by Emma. But Khairun nisa and Emma just sat. They didn't play.

I played for about an hour, maybe more, non-stop. No breaks or anything. It was tiring.

And I didn't bring my water bottle.

Smart right?

I think I stopped at around 9.30.

Had a short break. Played again with Amaani.

Then it was recess.

After recess was chaos!

At first we played like normal. You know, with the ball actually hitting the table.

I took a break.

Then, it was Sue Jiun against Foong, Rishantinee and Leena.

They didn't even play regular ping pong. No, it was more like a mix of badminton and tennis. Either way, the ball was flying through the air.

It didn't even touch the ping pong table.

I didn't join of course, I just sat the with the rest and watched. And laughed. Oh, did we laugh.

And one thing I didn't expect to do there, was learn Japanese. =.=

All because of Khairun nisa and Amaani.

Now I know how to say 1-10 in Japanese! Yay me! Hahaha.

When it was time to go home, though, I had to stand in the bus.

Right at the door. On the steps, in fact.

Because it really was that packed.

Ate ice cream there too.

Bought Crunch before I got on the bus.

It was yummy. =)

When I got home, guess what I did?

You betcha, played Guitar Hero.

Almost every year they force us to play this game.

I never join, I support. =)

What I simply hate about this time of the year is that 3P falls to pieces.

We always fight.

We always end up yelling at each other.

We somehow end up crying.

Note: 'We' doesn't apply to everyone, not really. Just certain people.

So anyway, I thought this year was kinda unfair.

Right now, though, kinda pissed (and sleepy) to explain.

To put it simply, a part of the day wasn't in 3P's favour.

Yeaahh...I think that's all I'm the mood for.

Mine apparently gets stuck along the way.

Recently I've been feeling an urge to write something.

It's like all the images in my head and all the stuff I'm thinking about wants to burst onto a piece of paper or something.

But I can't seem to put it to words.

This is so frustrating!!

It's the feeling you get when you're supposed to be writing this essay, but you have no idea what to write.

I'm starting to feel that almost every waking hour of the day.

Should I write about my dreams?

Nah, that wouldn't do.

I can't even remember them anyway.

It's all a complete blur.

The sad part is, sometimes I mistake my dream for real life.

So let's say I'm talking to this person. And I actually dreamt about that person before. It could've been about anything. A conversation that didn't make any sense or something.

So, when I'm talking to that person in real life, I get this feeling that I should be saying something important, but I can't grasp what it is.

It's hard for me to explain it. Which brings me back to how hard it is to put my thoughts into words. Very frustrating.

Anyway, I'm at a loss right now.

I read, but I want to write.

Yet I have no inspiration.

No goal.

Nothing.

Hmm...lately I've been reading these sort of mystery/murder case type books.

Same basic story line, but with a few unexpected twists here and there.

I think I might read a chick lit book again.

Haven't read one of those in a while.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am actually starting to miss that same old story that you can just predict what's going to happen next.

I miss that predictability where you know when the guy is going to kiss the girl.

Who's going to end up with who.

The sad and tragic death or loss of a loved one.

The best friend who just suddenly leaves or back stabs someone.

The part where the main character meets the sweet and funny person that captures his/her

heart.

The friends and family that expected these two people to be together but they don't until the very end.

I actually miss that.

So you can expect my head to buried in that kind of book sometime next week.

Once I'm finished with the book I'm reading now.

It's called When The Wind Blows.

You might think when you read this title that it's some sort of sad, romance novel.

Actually it's not.

It's a James Patterson book.

About a mystery that involves a bit of science and murder.

Far, far from a chick lit.

So far it's pretty interesting.

Then again, I'm not even halfway through the book yet.

So yeah.

You know, this is what I love about blogging.

It satisfies my need to write something.

Expressing my thoughts in a way I write freely.

Not bound by errors in spelling or language or anything like that.

Not that I don't proof read my own posts.

I always do that, when I don't feel too crappy when I type it out.

Dumbstruck by lightning

Hello people reading this post.

First of all, I'd like to say I'm sorry for not updating my blog in a really long time.

Second of all, I know this is probably a few weeks too late, and I may, no, I will sound very very lame for saying this, but I think it's important to me to state it on my blog.

PMR is over.

Haha, the funny thing is, Aimi was so frustrated that I didn't post this one sentence at all and left the 'Counting' post hanging like that, she wanted to post something here herself.

So again, I say sorry.

I guess you could say one reason I didn't post anything was because I was simply too malas to do it.

Indeed, I was.

Could you really blame me?

PMR was over.

I just wanted to sit and do nothing all day long.

So that's what I did.

But then, when I actually had the mood to write something, lo and behold, my house was stuck by lightning. 0_0'"

How did it happen?

I'll tell you the story.

I admit that I didn't help the situation at all.

In fact, I was so busy playing a game, that I honestly didn't notice the thunderstorm outside.

I really didn't notice.

That's what you get when there's nothing better to do.

I'm the type of person who has to focus on one thing at a time. All other things going on around around me are a blur. I'm completely oblivious to it.

So if at school, for instance, and I happen to be reading a book. If you want to get my attention, you better come up to me yourself and give me a little nudge on the shoulder. If you simply call out my name, I might not hear you.

But that depends on the book. =)

Anyway, I didn't know that it was raining heavily outside, so I just kept on playing. (it was Super Mario, by the way)

Next thing I knew, I heard this loud, like sort of explosion on the roof.

The lights went out.

The TV grew black.

And I was running down the stairs.

Seriously, I was so scared. The noise was really loud, I could hear roof tiles falling, I smelled some sort of burning and the whole situation was just unexpected.

What else did you expect me to do?

Plus, I was under the impression that it was all completely my fault, that I broke the TV and the ASTRO and the Wii and basically anything electronic upstairs.

So I was downstairs.

At the time, the only people home were me, my grandmother, Zara and the maid.

The maid went to the fuse box and switched the power back on. Downstairs was fine.

But I couldn't see any lights on upstairs. I think at that point my face would've shown all of my guilt. But then, no one was really there to notice.

A few minutes after, my second sister came back from work. She brought McD with her. At first we were going to eat downstairs. But then she wanted to go up. So I just followed.

I went upstairs with the food. The lights were still off, but I could see the computer was on. That meant that there was power in my room, because the plug point connecting the computer was in my room. But there wasn't any in the living room.

Probably one of the worst things that could happen, happened.

The ceiling was leaking, right above where all the electrical appliances were. So, the relatively new TV was wet, the Wii wasn't wet, but it was dripping right in front of it (instead, the CDs got wet) and, though everything else was dry, I panicked.

What more, my sister was blaming me, and I know I deserved it, but I couldn't help but feel like crying. I didn't though, that was hardly the place or time to cry.

We got buckets and rags and stuff.

Tried to dry what we could.

It was dark.

It was hot.

It was very stressing.

I just kept wondering when someone would shoot me.

Once we dried everything, I ate with my sister, downstairs, since there was nowhere to eat upstairs.

I didn't say much.

I didn't want to explain anything.

I couldn't.

I didn't know how to.

I just ate, while staring blankly into space, contemplating what had happened.

Thinking of a way to explain this to my parents.

When it happened, it was around 5 something.

My parents would only come home after 11pm.

I couldn't watch TV.

Not that I wanted to.

I refused to go anywhere near technology.

So what did I do?

I took a book. Labyrinth.

I made some mango flavoured black tea.

I sat in the living room downstairs.

Switched on the fan and read all through those hours.

I managed to finish the book too.

I didn't even talk to anyone, even though by 6 my first sister and my brother-in-law were home already.

Too ashamed and depressed, as you might say.

The next day, the technicians from KPMC came.

But no, they didn't come in an ambulance. Instead they took the Estima from KPMC and drove here in that car.

Turns out, the TV was fine. Thank god.

The Wii was fine as well, but that I knew the night before.

Unfortunately, the ASTRO was the one that was blown.

That was the source of the burning that I smelled the day before..

Learning that the ASTRO was rosak didn't disturb me that much.

There was a second decoder downstairs.

And in any case, they can't say I was the one who broke it because I wasn't even watching TV when it happened.

It was just a stroke of bad luck.

The one I hated, though, was that the internet couldn't be used.

Yes, I had to live without the internet for more than a week.

A week.

The tiles that I heard falling?

Apparently the lightning struck the metal cockerel that pointed north.

It was on the tower which held the water tank.

I guess I'm not surprised why the lightning struck it. It was the highest point of the house.

So much for having a lightning conductor. Doesn't help when something like this happens, now does it?

So that's the reason why I've been missing the past few days, in a sense.

This is a really long post. So I hope it wasn't too much of an effort to read it.

PMR is less than 20 days away!!!!

I should be freaking out like crazy now, right?

Strangely, I'm not.

Something's wrong with me.

Very, very wrong.

I feel pressure, but somehow I don't think it's to the magnitude it should be.

Does that make sense to you?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually want to feel stressed.

It would make me study more.

But no...

Instead, I'm not focusing!

It's not that I don't try to study.

I do!

But when I open a book, I can do it, but the info doesn't stick.

So there's really no point in doing exercises if you're not gonna remember it!!!

On a more cheerful note, my trial results were "okay" as my mother put it.

I think it is, too.

But not good enough.

I didn't manage to get 8A's.

I only have 2 subjects left to score in.

But I have to admit, both those subjects were very close to getting a A.

So close, and yet so far...

All I know is, my Science, Maths, Geo and English are consistent.

The rest are just going up and down.

So I really don't know what to expect for PMR.

Hopefully straight A's.

But its HUGE for me.

Why?

The initial one wasn't reliable enough to show up every week.

And I was.

So they gave the position to me instead.

Then they gave me the work to do.

I had to write the report and check the form 3's koko books against the mastercard.

Normal. But it was a bit confusing, since it was my first time.

Assembly + Panic attack = Many concerned people

One thing that I don't get why it happened.

It was completely unexpected.

I guess it was a good thing assembly was out in the tennis court today. I wouldn't have wanted the teachers to see me crouch to the ground.

I still can't believe it though.

It was like any other day, we walked in the tennis court for morning assembly.

Suddenly, I felt really faint and everything was spinning. I tried to hold on abit longer, but when Pn Ann took over them mic, I just couldn't take it anymore.

So I sat.

Then, my hands went completely numb.

And that's how my panic attack came.

I mean, who wouldn't be freaked out when this happens to you?

What more, I had an exam! I wasn't gonna miss this for anything!

I started wheezing and tears just sprang into my eyes. I couldn't help it at all. I just felt like crying. And my hands were so numb, I couldn't feel them. It was so hard to move them.

All the prefects near me were asking,

"Do you wanna go the sick room?" over and over again.

I did say no, but they couldn't hear me. I guess my voice didn't want to come out. So I just kept shaking my head. Maybe that didn't help the dizziness, now did it?

Sonia was like, "Intan, are you okay? Are you okay?"

She was seriously worried.

I gotta appreciate that, though. =)

Walking was okay for me, but I needed some support from Sonia.

Once we were in class, the numbness in my hands still didn't go away.

Foong and Dian were looking at me like they were really worried. But I said I was fine and took out my BM book. Had to test.

Luckily, my hands were okay when I practised writing a bit in the exercise book. So that's when the wheezing lessened.

End of panic attack.

Strangely, it was hard for me to keep awake. So I ended up sleeping halfway through the time. But I did finish the paper first. Duh..

I slept during KH and paper 2 for BM too. I honestly don't know why.

When I got home (by bus, no one was staying back for Interact) I told my mom about it, and she said the faintness and numbness was caused by low blood pressure. She said I wasn't eating right or something. But I can't help it if the food in school isn't appealing to me at all! I eat breakfast, but 1 piece of bread probably isn't enough.

She said the numbness came because there wasn't enough blood to go to the extremities, like the ends of my hands or legs. Or something like that.

But I'm getting sick. Like, seriously. My stomach hurts like crazy, I have no appetite, my headaches are getting worse, all I wanna do is sleep...

But I can't bring my self to stay home. Not this week. Next week, maybe. Who knows. Maybe I'll be better by then.

Now I'm just hoping I'll be okay enough for English and Maths tomorrow. Help me. =(

Today was pretty fun, admittedly.

You rock. Simply put.

I think I voted for like, 15 people. I just chose whoever I actually remembered. One thing my dad always says is you have to make an impact on people. If not, you'll be easily forgotten. Like most of the candidates today. Sorry to say la. Hope our next batch of prefects were chosen wisely and appropriately. Like what Pn. Nancy said: Don't vote based on popularity!!! She practically screamed that into the microphone. Well guess what, sometimes the good ones are popular. Actually, most of the time the good ones are popular. That's why they're popular to begin with. They're nice and smart and hardworking etc.

So yeah. I think that's enough on the prefects-to-be.

Interact meeting.

Like almost every week (or at least every meeting we have) we just sit, listen to Pn. Sarjit talk about how we should be more active and bla bla bla.

So after that, it was almost 2.15. She said that Pn. Chee needed help to move desks and chairs from this abandoned room to this old classroom that people use for meetings only.

They were so freaking dusty and disgusting. My hands were grey by the time everything was taken care of. But all that work was worth it. We can claim extra attendance marks from Pn. Sarjit if we need it later in the year.

So its all good.

That should be it.

Oh yeah! I wonder what Malik's gonna do to make up for forgetting my birthday. We'll just wait and see.

Guess what?

It's my birthday. =)

So far: not very interesting.

But I am gonna go out soon. So maybe things will let up there.

I feel happy, (sorta) but also sad (that I'm basically gonna be relatively alone on my birthday.) Again.

Though I may not be suffering or under privileged or anything, I am sorta unlucky in a way that affects me emotionally and mentally.

But I know my family's gonna be there. So that's one thing I can count on.

In other news (since I haven't been updating lately) my results for mid-term are...okay, but I'm not exactly that happy with it.

I have 5A's, 1 B and 2 C's.

The worst part?

The C's are for KH and Agama, and if only I had one more correct answer, I would've gotten B's instead.

Just one more mark.

The only B I have is for BM, btw. I can understand that. Not really surprised, but I did improve, if only by a little bit. So I'm satisfied with that.

Not so bad this time. But I know I could've done better. Maybe next time. =)

I've been very unhappy lately. Haven't really been smiling that much.

Must be because of exams. Stress and all that.

I haven't been studying properly at all!

When I found them and played them, I smiled like a freaking idiot. It brought back so many sweet memories from the 90's...

So after I finished listening to the cassettes, I YouTube-d Five, looking for other songs that I heard of.

I seriously felt like like I was a little kid again. =) I miss those days..

Some things work out, some don't

One thing I notice now is that a number of things in my life have turned left.

Meaning: They're not going my way anymore.

For instance, my results for intervensi. My BM used to a B, then one answer changed. I got C instead.

Then, the same went for KH. From an A, one answer changed and I got a B.

On top of all that, I have to re-do my orientasi.

AGAiN.

Why did I make the 'i' lower case? Just felt like it. I just do random stuff that don't really make sense.

I'm just really frustrated with all of the above. I used to be happy about all three of them. Now I really hate it. If I didn't have to change the format (again) for orientasi, I would've finished it by the end of the week already. Tomorrow, maybe. But no, it won't happen.

But you should understand why I'm so fed up with this.

1. I've written the same thing over and over again to almost 10 times already.

2. While doing this, a lot of people ejek me and anyone else who does the orientasi. They say "rajinnye.." and stuff like its a bad thing. Is it really? So what if we're not as malas as you guys? It is so wrong that we actually listen and obey what our seniors tell us to do? You wanna get denda-ed, fine with me. But what right do you have to tease and patronize those who are decent enough to do it? I'm just really sick with their negative attitudes towards this.

3. They keep on changing the format. At least with KP, even though they denda and haze their juniors during the orientasi, at least they tell them to do it again based on what they did wrong. So its their own fault. They don't change the format. It stays the way it is. But this? I have to do it again because the format keeps changing! So excuse me for being mad and upset.

4. I know a lot of people haven't even started orientasi, even though the due date is in 2 weeks. But some people have done it. Why make us more miserable when we did everything you asked us to do? We followed word by word. We asked about every single little detail. And because the decided to add one word in the 'jawatan' slot, we have to do it again. I am not going to be the one who informs the afternoon juniors that they have to do it again. I've told them to do it almost 5 times already I'm not going to tell them again.

As you can see, the word "again" pops up a lot. That's because we have to repeat it so many times. The word "again" is supposed to emphasize it more.

I really want to cry. It's so maddening and frustrating.

I'm gonna head off to a corner and..think. Yeah, that's what I'll do. Bye.

The time of the year that I simply hate the most..

There's always a problem with someone's book, or that person didn't come. But to the person who didn't actually come today, *ehem ehem* you wouldn't want to be at school any time soon.

Trust me, there are certain people who will kill you.

Well, for me, I didn't like it much. 2 people lost their books while Uztazah was marking them. -.-" I honestly don't know how that happened. So Uztazah told me to write "buku hilang" on the piece of paper that I put with the checked and chopped books. Not surprisingly, a lot of people sent in books that weren't marked. But hey, I'm nice (PFFT!) so I didn't say anything to anyone. But if your name gets called up, don't come looking for me. But that's probably because I might be one of those people on the stage. =O But it won't be for Agama. It would most probably be about BM. Or maybe English Literature. Whatever. One of those anyway.

Like I care.

Now that book checking is done, I can focus less on finishing homework, and more on studying! Not that I'd be studying much at home, but it does encourage the mood, doesn't it? Yeah, I don't know either. I'm sort of crapping right now because I have about 9 days left to do my PEKA. And I haven't even come close to starting. Oh well. I'll try to start later tonight. But first I have to buy some green beans. I'll wait for my mom to get home to drive me to the shop. Not really in the mood to ask my sister. She'll probably complain about it, knowing her attitude. =(

OH! Now Pn. Nancy talking about the swine flu. Hmm...

I don't know why I mentioned that. Just felt like it.

Pavi or McD?

Which one would you have chosen? I chose the latter. Sorry I say (again) to those I invited to meet in me in Pavi, and sorry to those who invited me to Pavi in the first place.

This morning, I woke up at around 6.30 to go to the Komplex Sukan & Belia to watch the final pertandingan kawad thing. Why is it important to me? My coaches were joining. So I had to be there to show support, right?

Anyway, it took me forever to get there. I'd be too pissed to explain every single deatil, so I'll skip the most part.

The important thing is, I was supposed to meet with K. Serene and Erniza at the station, but only K. Serene showed up. I called Erniza's phone short of 10 times and she still didn't pick up. So I called her house and asked if she was there. Guess what? She was sleeping. Nice. So we just left without her.

Then she came anyway, she took a cab from Ampang. But she missed almost everything.

In a nutshell, the comp was great. I still think we could've beaten Danau Kota last time. Next year, next year. =D

After that, I thought I still had plenty of time to get to Pavi and meet up with Farhanah and all. But I invited Malik, Izzy, Aimi and Dini too. I asked them to meet me there. But getting back from the complex took forever. Everyone wanted to go eat at McD in Masjid Jamek. How to get there? Walk to Maluri train station.

That was so freaking exhausting. It was far, and we walked in the hot sun. (Since it was almost noon) Everyone was sweating like crazy. But I guess I didn't feel the distance much because I was walking in a huge group. By the time we reached the station, it was almost 12.

So I called everyone and cancelled. There was no way I was going to Pavi in the condition I was in. Instead, I went to McD with K. Hanis, K. Wanie, K. Eleen, K. Serene, K. Amirah, Erniza and Ain. Form 5's and form 3's only. It was so fun. =)

The normal stuff happened. We found a place to seat 8 people, ordered, ate while talking, laughing at how K. Wanie finished a large glass of coke in about 10 minutes and refilled it twice after that, and just enjoying each other's company. We left at around 2 something.

I still felt guilty about canceling on everyone. So while waiting for my sis to pick me up at Setiawangsa, I messaged Malik to say sorry, again. I have no idea how many times I apologized to you people today. -.-"'

Anyway, he was still with Izzy I guess, (ahaha..I made you guys sound a bit gay) and Izzy said that I can repay them by giving phone numbers.

HAHAHA! Don't worry, I didn't actually give them any. I'm not planning on having an angry mob of CBNers chase after me for giving their phone numbers away.

But of course they were just joking.

After I got home, I slept until 7 something. But I did manage to play with Zara (while she was in a good mood) for maybe an hour before I crashed on the sofa.

It's sort of depressing that out of the 6 papers I have already, I only got 3 A's.

Today was Sejarah and Maths.

Sejarah: 65% (B) -But still not confirmed yet-

Maths: 70% (B)

Well, for Maths I just made a lot of careless mistakes. Hmm...I feel like changing my level. Being in level 1 isn't helping me improve my grade. Levels 3 and 4 are the best. Ms. Choo and Pn. Gan are fun. I wish they could teach me Maths. =(

So much for wishful thinking. Getting a B won't get me into a lower level. I feel like deliberately failing Maths. But I won't actually do it. So if I actually do get a C and under, then that's just because I'm not good at maths anymore..

As for sejarah.....

I can't say. Sometimes I know the answer, sometimes I don't. It depends.

This intervensi is not my best. And yet some people say my marks are good already. -.-"

Why do I always seem to have bad luck when traveling now? It's like a sign; go study... there's no point in going anywhere now..

Sure, whatever.

First, my legs hurt already when I started exercising more.

Since it was a wedding, I had to wear a baju kebaya. I can't wear comfy flats with that, it's too weird-looking.

So I had to wear heels. Those so didn't help at all. So I made faces while I walked. And my sister was kinda pissed by my attitude. Can I really help it? It hurts for crying out loud. It was easier for her, she got to wear comfier shoes.

But the wedding was so very extravagant. Like, the kompang thing. Very, very, very interesting..and weird, but interesting.

How?

I can't really explain it here. I need to tell you in person for you to get it. So yeah, never mind that.

hen we went shopping. Bought new shoes, wore them, then my right foot melecet. Nice, right? I was in such a bad mood, almost everyone was fed up with me. But now I'm good.

Well, except for the fact that I have to re-do my orientasi. Stupid changing-of-format. I already got 6 signatures!!

Haish....I really feel like crying. The rainy weather doesn't help much now.

Geo: 83% (A) -But this one isn't confirmed yet because we weren't satisfied with the answers-

Actually, she wasn't the only one who wanted to do that. A lot of people did. But they never actually pointed a pair of scissors to my face.

Thank god for that. I really, honestly expected to get at least a C, you know...

I only studied the night before. Good thing I got lucky and read the right ones. =)

Don't get the wrong idea, though. I received no soalan bocor for this!!

The teachers don't trust anyone anymore. But I guess that's understandable.

But for BM, on the other hand...

I only got 5 right for the tatabahasa. I have no idea what I got for my karangan.

But I can tell you this: My karangan always sucks. So yeah, I highly doubt I'll get an A. If I do, Alhamdulillah....=)

Book checking coming up soon. But now they tanggunhkan it to the 4th of May. I guess its no problem for me, I still have time to finish my Science homework. ^.^

I believe I may have just wasted so much time and energy on my orientasi because the supervising teacher is sort of threatening to cancel it. She better not!!!! Its so freaking hard to do it perfectly. The names have to be right, the jawatan have to be right, the classes have to be right, and there must be no smudges or crumples on the paper or anything that makes it look the least bit uglier than it should be. Wow, that was a long sentence. Anyway, I've done it about 10 times already, and I really hope she won't put all of that effort to waste! I've already gotten 6 signatures!!!!

So, yeah, that's it. If you read that last paragraph, then good for you. If not, oh well. Like I said, its not really that important unless you've gone through it yourself (or is going through it right now).

And now, I must go and....pack. Going to Singapore tomorrow!

But now, I get to hear all sorts of drama from other people! I have no idea how that happened.

Now I know so many stories and scandals that its starting to get hard for me to keep up with them.

That's what I get for staying back at school till 5 something.

It's starting to feel like I know too much now. Its dangerous to know some of these stuff...

For some strange reason, the school is full of bees now...

I can't even do my homework after school without having at least 1 bee kacau-ing me.

I feel like making a formal complaint to the school about this. Unfortunately, they hardly ever listen to a single complaint made by the students.

But whenever a over-protective parent makes a comment, we suffer because Pn. Ann, Pn. Chee and/or Pn. Nancy give us a nice 10 minute talk on whatever the problem may be. But no matter how many times we complain about the toilets or the canteen's leaking roof, or the broken ceiling fan (of which causes me to sweat in the middle of class) or the fact that the school administration is lopsided, (meaning, they care more about cheer, gymnastics, hockey and bola jaring than other co-curricular activities which require a lot of practice) they don't want to listen.

Not only that, but I really don't see the point in book checkings. Isn't it enough for the Form Threes and Fives to go through intervensi? Then you go add a stupid book checking in between. It just stresses out everyone, doesn't it? Makes people so depressed that they actually contemplate suicide. And I'm not kidding when I say this. Last year, we actually helped a teacher find someone who went MIA because she was too stressed out and depressed from staying in this school.

Yes, the girls from 3P should remember this...

Other than that, I guess everything is...okay. But really, how do they expect us to fit in 18 meetings for this year? I don't think we have much time left, not unless you people decide to have koko during exam weeks too.

Oh, oh! The Score A thing. Guess what? I tried it just now, and the answers are totally wrong. Well, some of them, anyway. A salamander is a reptile, isn't it? Why put two reptiles in the multiple choice? The description is basically the same. I answered commensalism for another question, and it should be that, so why do they say the right answer is parasitism? Stupid. I got 72% for my first test in Science for the Score A program.

I never get a B for Science!!!!!!!

Ever.

Of course, for other subjects I can't say the same thing...except English, but that's because the English papers are just too easy to score in.

Yeah, well....what can I do? Apparently my opinion isn't as important as everyone else's. Oh well. Hmm.....I wanna go eat. Bye

PFFFT!

Yeah, right.

My prediction came true, though. I abandoned my blog. How sad. =(

Anyway, lots of stuff happened, but I'll give highlights. (if I mentioned them already, then just ignore it, I'm very nyanyuk now)

1. I am now very very hangus. I think it's worse than last year's sunburn, to be perfectly honest.

2. For the competition (Zon Keramat) we got 4th. Not bad, compared to last year. I'm very satisfied with our performance. =D

3. I have befriended basically all of my Form 5 seniors. That's a first. Really, it is.

4. Erniza and me have spent 40 bucks buying dvds to burn. But we don't mind. It was fun.. and frustrating too, but never mind that part.

5. I have gotten my very first offense today. Why? the bus rosak. So technically it's not my fault I came late. (If it wasn't for the bus, I would still be offense-free)

6. I got number 7 in class for the first intervensi. Hope I do better on the next one. Which, by the way is in two weeks' time. How nice...I haven't even studied yet.

7. For the first time, I am completely lost wherever maths is concerned. I have no idea what happened to my maths.

8. I'm actually gonna do charity work on Monday. =D

Yeah, that's it. And to think, those are only highlights. Just imagine how long this post would be if I wanted to explain every single point up there. O.O

So, I haven't posted in while. I've been busy. Guess what? I've got:

1 English poem to write (though I think that's optional)

1 speech for elocution to write...

But the last part's just my fault for signing up for it.

I haven't even figured out a topic to talk about!

Isn't that just so peachy... *sighs*

On the plus side, Abg Mut bought Guitar Hero today. So I've been playing it till 12 something. Then I had to give up because all the chords were getting jumbled up in front off me. I got a lot wrong. And I mean a lot. And that was only when playing medium. Who knows what'll happen if I play hard. Or even worse, Expert. =O

This is something Erniza pointed out to me the other day:

I never actually noticed that before. Well, Forensics was a waste. Even if I was selected to participate, the entries weren't even submitted in time!

Debate was a lost cause too. Takes up too much time. Even Kak Eleen said that her classmates in 5B who are in the debate team are way stressed out.

Before this, I never wanted to join. Still had stage fright conquering my every move. Now, not so much. Not quite sure why. (Must be because of the public speaking course I took last year)

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to sleep on it. Maybe the answer will come in my dreams.

Speaking of which, I'd like to say thank you so much to Jasmin and Raveenaa. Not tat you'd be reading this anyway, but still.

Thanks to you, I dreamt that the sun rose on the west side instead of the east. TWICE. I was seriously freaked out by that, you know. Kept waking up from the nightmare.

And it happened at school. (In the dream, of course.) It felt so real. =(

To those who don't understand, well, I'm not gonna be the one to explain it all to you.

My results for the Intervensi 1 were good. I was so shocked to find out that I only have 2 Bs. And the rest were all high A's. =D

I am so proud of myself.

That's all I want to say at the moment. I have yet to go to sleep after playing games on the Wii all day long.

Held at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

Today wasn't much better than Thursday.

In fact, it was a lot worse.

I'm just way too tired to explain everything, so I'll just give the highlights.

Opening Ceremony

All was going well for us. The tabit hormat was so nice. We actually had a chance to win it this year. But then again, I've never really been so lucky in competitions.

Pn Ann and the VVIP's speeches were so freaking long.

When we had to sing the school song, the most shocking thing happened.

Our commander fainted right in front of us.

It took all I had to not run or burst out in tears right there and then.

We knew all chances of winning had flown out the window when she fell.

Of course, we panicked. Who wouldn't? We kinda lost focus and got a bit disoriented. Lost marks there too. Probably.

After exiting the view of others in ramp 5, almost half of us started crying. We were so close. So close.

But of course, we couldn't do anything about it. No one can really blame her for fainting. It's not her fault. We could never hate her for this. Well, at least I can't.

After the opening ceremony

We all tried to perk up for her sake. I prefer not to say her name, but it doesn't take a genius to figure out who my commander is. Then we watched cheer together. And cheered for Kak Fathi in the acara balapan. =)

Sukantara for unit beruniforms was good. KRS got first place for that one.

Then, litter duty. >=(

That's not fair. All the unit beruniforms were supposed to help pick up trash in the stadium. Since the people here don't know how to walk to the trash can all along the staircases. Sriously, every staircase had at least 2 trash cans, and people still don't make an effort to throw away their trash.

In reality, only KRS marchers were the one who picked up the trash. Everyone else? They did absolutely nothing. It was so disgusting. And tiring. We were wearing the full uniform the whole time. As if our baju is cooling to wear. YEAH RIGHT.
